Erik Karlsson healthy now. Wayne Gretzky back in his prime for the past. Pavel Bure anytime in his career for the past aswell. Cant comment on Orr, wasnt alive but im sure he was great in his era. - gunner2233
hit up youtube - Bobby Orr "Catch me if you can"... its worth the few minutes of investment.
I was old enough to watch the guy - if there was ever as dominant a single player to come along in the current era, that player would be faster than Grabner, more nimble than Karlsson, have a better shot than anyone in the game today in terms of accuracy, a quick release ala Kane, Gretzky's passing vision... all that and have the ability to scrap with the toughest guys.
the only truly do-everything player I have ever seen.
his ability to change pace and direction were unmatched - shame for everyone (and especially him) that his body simply broke down.

Eklund: What Player Do You Feel Most Priviledged to Watch? - Eklund
I'm the biggest fan I know and a lot of people feel that way. I do not feel priviledged to watch any player. Players should play like it's a priviledge to make millions with adoring fans.
I feel priviledged to live where we live and to have the freedoms we have and to have healthy kids. Feel priviledged to watch a player? Really? I'm shocked if anyone actually feels priviledged. Especially this year. |

Perhaps you're taking 'privileged' too literally? How about Pleased? |

Described like that I can see why people say he was/is the best ever. What a player. Orr - Karlsson would make a dynamic D pairing. I would of loved to see Gretzky in his prime play with Bure. |

Im gonna just step away from the nostalgia right now and make a comment about the playoffs.
I am not suprised that SJ looks to have taken over this series, yes its 2-2 but, Sharks are owning them. Yes the Canucks got swept, but I gave the Sharks credit, even though they seem to get lucky alot this post season. They have been playing at a high level and no one wanted to admit it, most just wanted to say it was because the Sharks were playing the sh^ty Canucks. If the Sharks win this series, there going to the Cup final. Before this series I picked the Sharks after closely watching the first round and was ridiculed on here. I watch games, they're the best in the west right now. They got hot again just before the playoffs like they were at the beginning and there carrying it through. |

Datsyuk.
Here's a question for you all, If you could pick a tandem of Datsyuk and Zetts or Crosby and Malkin, who do you pick? - wolfhounds
Dats and Zetts without question for me. |
