Well Done Refs!!!! Put your whistles away against the kings then gave penalties to the Sharks that weren't there....well done for creating a 5 on 3 out of thin air to give the game to the Kings. At least the Kings know that they were thoroughly outplayed like a pee wee league team. - corvusmd
What goes around comes around, am I right? Seriously though, toss loss for the Sharks tonight. But they're still in it since they still have 2 games at home(with a great home record) to get back into this series. |

If anyone is watching the replay of Lewis' goal, please note Joe Pavelski's epic backcheck on the play. |

It doesn't take a genius to see the sharks played better. For a while. But that doesn't matter. It's about getting the W in the end.
Yes, they can come back. Not being sarcastic. Fraser said it in the post game. We got lucky, we need to play better. - Deadmau55
Fair enough sir. Good points, you are correct that at the end of the day it's the W that matters... I wasn't arguing that, and I'm clearly just frustrated with the WAY that we lost. I just got done watching the Sharks post-game videos, and it actually made me feel better about the whole thing...they understood the whole deal and seem even more determined now. Maybe that and the fact that Quick has been "broken through" will carry us to win the Series. Quick has been amazing no doubt. Teams can come back from a 2-0 deficit.....Kings Fans know that |

Of course I'm pissed off right now....losing when you don't deserve it sucks. I was mad when we lost game one, but only cause Quick was excellent. Kings did deserve the win on game one because of Quick alone. However, when a game is won/lost because of poor officiating both ways against the Sharks it's frustrating. Either way, coming back from 2-0 isn't impossible for us...esp if we keep playing like we are - corvusmd
Sharks in the 3rd period sat back for the most part, Kings dominated that period, Sharks stopped skating.. |

Exactly. I hate when coaches do that, but the Kings dominated the third and got stronger as the game went on. |

Stop crying Shark fans! We all know the reffing sucks in this league and every team has had experience at least once in the playoffs. The reason the Sharks are down 2-0 is simply because the better team played hard in the 3rd. This series is not even close to the Blues series we had, Blues were solid and didnt give up once! There fans at least had some dignity and didn't female dog and cry after the loss. It's still 2-0 and anything can happen |

I don't see anything wrong with the last 2 calls, maybe the puck hit carter's arm, way too close to call on the ice, ref didn't see a deflection, can't review it. Toffoli was tripped in front of the net. Am i missing something? - canuckssuck9
Uh, yeah, you're missing at least one thing:
The Stuart penalty, though weak, was a fair call. But at least one of the linesmen apparently thought that Vlasic's clear did deflect off of Carter, and if there is any doubt at all you don't hand a team a 5 on 3 in a situation like that. You just don't. As a Blackhawks fan, I couldn't care less which one of these teams gets eliminated by the Hawks in the Conference Finals, but as a hockey fan, it was an appalling way to end a game. Had this gone against my team, I'd justifiably feel robbed, and even if it went in favor of my team, the victory would feel cheap and hollow...
So yeah, you missed that. |

Cheap and hollow??? you don't have a clue about sports let alone hockey my friend. The Kings still had to convert on said pp's and they did. If you want to whine about it it's your choice. Some of you people need to grow up! Chicago is very beatable so as they say, don't start counting your chickens.... |

The Kings haven't played 60 min in the two games yet in my opinion. The St Louis series was so much more then this series and the Kings are adjusting. I thought the calls against the Kings were extremely ticky tac compared to what was going on in the St Louis series but you have to play the way the refs call the game and not whine... |

Both calls were fair calls. I've said this for years, Refs HAVE to make the same call in the first minute as they do in the last, regardless of score. All this whinning about the delay of game, yet NOT ONE PERSON HAS OFFERED UP proof it hit Carter. There are numerous camera angles and each DOES NOT SHOW the puck hitting him.
I know this is hard to grasp, but MAYBE, just maybe the refs got it right? |

The delay penalty has been called 18 times in the playoffs so far. Like it or not they're calling it. |

Yeah they really have not played 60min in the past two games, I feel like both games were very effortless by the Kings. I wish we can get everyone back healthy for Game 4 and just finish this ridiculous series. I rather take the Blues series any day then this crying and hating from Sharks fans, players and there organization. |
