ye but he still lacks in the defensive aspect of the game. anyone who wonders why torts doesn't trust him needs to just look at him B-line it across the ice right before the first goal which gave green a lane to skate straight to the net.
i bet the majority of us didn't even notice that, myself included, until they showed the replay and pointed it out. i'm sure he makes defensive mistakes like that almost every other shift :/ - rangerdanger94
He has only played 40 plus games of NHL hockey, he is still learning. We don't need him to be Callahan or Stepan yet |

Keep playing but be careful with the Rangers D joining the rush too much. Couple times where they almost got caught.
And Richards has legs tonight. Must be all that time on the bench. |

i agree 100% but i'm just saying that mistakes like that are things we don't notice but stick out to torts like water in the ocean. |

Boyle has been very good doing a lot of the dirty work in this game. Blocking shots and hitting. This is the Brian Boyle I like to see. He gets lots of flak but this is how he needs to play to be effective and he has been good tonight and for most of the series. |

Foot on the gas here.
The caps are gonna make a real push at some point, probably early in the third. We gotta keep them off the scoreboard as long as possible |
