The short bus of New York Islanders' "small market" excuses has been flattened by the spaceship pictured here. Time to bring the noise....

Nino is going nowhere.......bank on that

OK....so if someone offered you Sidney Crosby for Nino, would you tell me that Nino isn't going anywhere? Because if the answer is yes, you're fired..

How about Cory Schneider?
- LeftCoaster

Cory Schneider can't be moved, for Lu 100% has to be moved according to the last Canucks blog.

He is one that I think is gone and will be traded at the draft.

Well, we outplayed the Pens this series and lost. Unfortunately as good as Nabby was in April, we was aweful in playoffs.

Shame we lost this game.

- Spartiarti

Offensively, we outplayed them....defensively, we were about equal....it wasn't only the goaltender who was the problem.....and equal against them means you lose. We need to get bigger, faster and more intimidating than A Mac back there....if he's the best you've got, that's not good enough. The good news is that players will WANT to play here, going forward.

Luongo's contract is terrible and that is reason to move him; however, if you were a Canucks fan, would you be confident with Schneider as your numero uno? I wouldn't.

In football, players can restructure their contracts to help the team. Luongo himself said his contract sucks and is the reason he wasn't moved. Could he renegotiate the contract, a healthier one which would allow Vancouver to deal him and basically give him what he wants -a ticket out of town?

Source? Oh, that's right, it's the guy who writes the blog. Shea Weber will be an Islander, the day after the Cup final ends.....guaranteed . I know because I just said so....now if I could only get the lottery tickets to work that way.....

I don't bet. However, if I have a prized prospect that comes out and demands a deal, I move him if the right deal comes along. What that deal is, I have no idea. People tend to overrate him like there is no tomorrow. To me, he won't be a significant loss for you if you deal him.

Yep need to be bigger and tougher on D. This season and series should have really help in landing FA's. This makes getting by this loss easier along with all the good young talent on the way and the move to Brooklyn. Lot's of positives right now

His agent made the remarks, not Nino.....
I would only deal him for Ryan, Kane type of player....

I was at the game with a buddy of mine. It was a good game. Unfortunately Penguins won but Islanders truthfully won this game. Penguins stole it with lucky goals. I feel that it was a great series by Islanders and I am looking forward to next year. I think it is a new and wonderful future for us all islanders fan. enjoy it!

Right....ok, so what if Keith Yandle is the prize in that package? Still not moving him if the total price is acceptable? My only point is that you can't guarantee anything- less than two calendar years ago, people also guaranteed me that there was NO WAY we'd EVER move to Brooklyn, NEVER, EVER......it's not built for hockey....Bettman won't allow it, because it's too small......etc....

I don't think Bailey or KO are going anywhere. Snow would trade our prospects before them.

U really think that Snow will trade Strome, Nino, or Nelson before Bailey or KO?

Remember he was trying to deal KO everywhere, but didn't like the offers, and Bailey has not been the player they envisioned, that's why he hasn't received a long term deal after his rookie contract ended
