You think dmen are gonna start shooting 8 feet in the air on purpose? If the forwards are good enough to deflect it, good for them, and good goal!
No more waste of time, no more debates, more goals (what they're looking for anyway).

it's not a typical motion but it is a motion that you can use , it's a mix between stopping and turning.

there is not doubt he angled his skate to deflect the puck, but that is not illegal in hockey

- Oilhab

my feeling was that he intentionally used his skate to put the puck in as he wasn't getting a stick on it. kicking motion? perhaps not but that went beyond stopping and oops, the puck happened to go off my skate.

what they should do is change to rule so that only the habs can do it but nobody else.

they should also change the rules that when bozak has to take a faceoff the other player isn't allowed to use a stick.

then they should change the rule so that the Bruins can trip anyone and get a powerplay for diving
.

Wait...these aren't already in the rulebook?

They should only be able to kick it in if the puck is above the crossbar, bicycle-kick style.

Keep the players out of the blue paint.

Most agree that the hit on Eller was legal. Yet, it was dangerous.

He also said Gryba's hit was clean.
But...he was stupid then.

According to the rules it is clean

yes he was in the process of stopping when he decided to deflect the puck with his skate.

In no way was it an accident

That's the problem with this type of rules. Interpretation.

Make it clear. With no room for interpretation.
