Holy poop. Can't believe people are really defending this.

Or maybe he should be smart enough to realize that he has a disappointed fan base that does not give a (frank) about trying to get him on the cover of a video game. Especially the day after a tough loss.

If that's his true braking motion, he must skate as bad as Latendresse.

I knew they'd eventually lose the game as soon as that call was upheld.

Like Ference and his "stuck glove", he'll admit to the media in a couple of years that yeah, he kicked the puck.

As every Leafs and Nordiques (RIP) fans will tell you, Kerry Fraser was a great ref, lots of experience at the NHL level.

His opinion > yours

and Stéphane Auger agrees with Fraser....so that's 2 former NHL refs who disagree with you.

it's not a typical motion but it is a motion that you can use , it's a mix between stopping and turning.

there is not doubt he angled his skate to deflect the puck, but that is not illegal in hockey

The problem here is the forward motion of his left foot during his attempt to stop.

One is a biased french ref, and the other doesn't want to get death threats from the 2nd largest fanbase aswell as the first
