sure doesn't help you stop, that's for sure.

Can they possibly pull this off with the guys they have left? Budaj in nets doesn't concern me, but I don't know if they have the will or the talent to pull this off.

Let me help.

1. You admit that his on-ice play is top notch. The universe agrees, which explains his Norris nomination.

2. And then you see things he does off the ice, which makes you wonder if he really does care.

Let's go back to #1 for a moment, shall we?

The Leaf fans at my work are very quiet right now.

That's because parade planning is serious business.

Why don't you Habs fans just admit your team was so scared to face the Leafs in the playoffs, they ended up winning the last game on purpose?

I don't think they do with all the allegedly injured players.

We shall see. I don't expect them to come back in it, though. Even the coach looks like he's ready to give up.

It's not just me, I was going off of what the Habs fans were saying about him needing to focus on the playoffs and not getting his face on a video game. I was trying to come up with an explanation for it. In a roundabout way, I was trying to defend the guy while others are ripping him.

Why you've singled me out, I don't understand. I'm not even a Habs fan.

Atomic, it's almost like you didn't even read my post before you responded.

I didn't even say his play was top notch. I said he's 'into it'.

So how would you define "top notch"?

'cause I'm thinking a Norris nomination at least gets you a pretty good view.

There were 305 defencemen in the NHL this year. At worst, he was better than 302 of them.

Maybe because it happens quite often....when a ref originally doesn't see the puck go in the net.

I don't know. I think a high-level conspiracy is more likely.

Dude, I didn't nominate him. You're first part said, 'you admit he's top notch'. I admitted nothing of the sort. My post had nothing to do with his play.

I said, he 'into the game'. Ie screaming at teammates, celebrating goals, slamming into the tunnel on his way off the ice. He shows emotion.

I was talking about his emotions on and off the ice, and how he may need a counterbalance to how he is on the ice.

Charlie, AW likes to joke around. That's why he is here and not in Augello's thread right now.

Sorry, my friend from the Island of Misfit Toys, but you are still failing in logic.

What demonstrates that he may need a counterbalance to how he is on the ice? He's really into it during games, so he needs to stay off Twitter?

He needs to be judged by his on-ice play. The verdict is in: he was pretty damn good this year.

So why are you bringing up his Twitter habits?
