I actually focused on him a bit and he looked good. Certainl much better than he looked with us. Better fit for him in Pitts
- Cptmjl

Yea we were something like 17-2 with him in the line up and our pk was much improved. Not sure it's a direct result of him but he certainly didn't hurt. I think he blocked 6 shots game 1 of this series.

That is common place on this blog as well, especially from him.

If you can't win an argument with reason and logic, raise your voice and resort to personal attacks.

Its common from me with you because you are a known troll and have been for YEARS. Your act is repetitive and tiresome. Therefore, I have little patience for you and the other trolls like you. I'm downright pleasant to most everyone else, including most fans other teams....so in conclusion, you aren't on my Christmas card list and that's unlikely to change.

Guess it's the same for us as well. Eaton has been much better for us than Strait was
- dbell646

I didn't think Strait was bad, there just wasn't a spot for him. Eaton has outperformed all reasonable expectaions.

Eaton was terrible for us, one of our worst Dmen last year and that says a lot. Strait has'nt been wonderful since returning from injury, he was pretty good in game 2 i must say.

Could just be that he fits the pens system better? Its amazing how many times a player that is solid one place just can't make it work in another.

I laugh that Isles' fans want to cry about a penalty in overtime, but have no problem getting a power play with a little over 8 minutes left in the 3rd period of a tie game. Fact is, Isles couldn't cash in on their chance, the Pens buried theirs.

If Pierre became GM of a team, do you think he suspends his only players for hitting Crosby?
- mighty13duck

the funny thing is that his favorite team and player are the Flyers and Giroux. He was pretty much proposing marriage to him in that pens-flyers series last year.

I hope the Pens go...

Duper, Crosby, Kunitz
Neal, Malkin, Iginla
Morrow, Sutter, Bennett
Kennedy, Jokinen, Vitale
--------------------------------------
Give Glass and Adams a day. Vitale always seems to really get going after some time off. Kennedy will be fired up and right now we need shots on net and he's loves shooting.

Agreed with everything you said.

No place here for the trolls.

Be kind. Be polite. And move on to the next topic.

We're all part of this unique but yet inspiring hockey community and we should all show the appropriate respect that brings.

Hope the next game is as good as the last!

Cheers!

Only problem with that is your taking out 2 guys who play the PK, and putting in 2 guys who don't. You're left with Sutter, Duper, and Kunitz who are regular Pkers.

Pierre slobbers on whoever is playing well. It's as predictable as the Flyers fans booing Crosby. The reason he's always slobbering over Sid is because he's almost always the best player on the ice.

Rumor has it Pierre asked for a divorce because Giroux stole his paycheck for most of the year.

Bylsma cited his team's puck management and the Islanders' transition game as a reason for the Islanders' success in five on five.

Anybody think Sutter should maybe drop a line? He's not exactly been prominent. It would be nice to get a little production from that 3rd line.

Im not against this. Sutter seems like a big liability, then again he could be the #1 star next game.

I would love the see how many minutes he is getting against Tavares each game.

I dunno, just because he isn't producing offensively doesn't mean he hasn't been effective. Although he has 0 points through 3 games, he also has a 0 +/- and this is a line that is typically matched up against JT at home (although Sids line seems to have played a good bit against his line so far)

Don't know about time against Tavares, but Sutter is averaging 15+ minutes a game and has not been on the ice for any goals against......he hasn't been on the ice for any goals for either.

Clever of you using "almost". As in, not always.

Well played, and I agree.

Cheers sunshine!
