I agree, but was just making a point to this Midnight member; who also said yesterday here that "Torts was making bad coaching decisions purposely to get himself fired". - RangerSaver
It's funny that because you or others say the things that I and some few others have already mentioned as to the faults with our coaching system, that they are NOW correct FACTS; but I was ridiculed for stating them way earlier in the season. How many times have you alone mentioned them here in your posts on this one blog only; as well as some others did also here? You even mentioned that Ron Duguay said that Kreider & the other younger players here pay too much attention to defense only, because they are afraid to make mistakes. When I said that before on other blogs, I was criticized with comments like "these are pro athletes and they have no fears". You probably don't even know yourself what you post most of the time.
I will only mention the members besides you who did those postings here starting early Mon. morning; with many repeating them more than once:
Pete V, Cranford, & F Quicks (who were all there already prior to this blog), Blueshirts, Names, Aecliptic, Tomburton, MrHattrick, GM Killer & others.
Now you can go and re-read them yourself; but don't forget about the Donnie Murdoch's, Chris Erwin's & others of the like, who were already on this bandwagon; and understood the facts way earlier as well, without posting here now.
Jan also mentioned in his blog my stats that I posted first on Hank's career playoff record in games when he made 30 or more saves; to stop all of Hank's bashers from saying that he is not a big game goalie.
We had a hard fought, great victory last night due to our at times higher pressure offensive attack, which made Holtby "strain" more in this game, compared to the first two games. But his "straining" play wasn't as great as Hank's, which was the second reason for our victory. That was the most encouraging part of this win in that Hank wasn't even named as 1 of the 3 stars of the game, like he almost always is when the Rangers win any game of tougher or greater magnitude. I hope that this type of victory will lead us to turn around this series, as long as Torts lets our offensive players perform mostly that, but still play two-way hockey; and match only our defensive players against Washington's best producers for that role. We need no more "Safe=Death" play style here with our offensive weapons, so that they can pepper Holtby to make him strain even more. - RangerSaver
As usual TLDNR
EDIT: Just noticed my name and had to read (It's Tom by the way, user name is stupid and old). People don't like you and bash you cause you only coem out for losses and to CONSTANTLY bash Torts. Like dude we get it. Move on and add something else of substance. Theres a difference between what you do and us sayign "we need a more balanced attack" and then commenting on other things.
Wanted to give myself a few days off the blog, the team has been consuming every waking and non waking thought in my mind lately and I needed a few days away.
But, going to the game tomorrow! so glad they pulled it off last night and was going to be unhappy to go to a game down 3-0.

I couldnt get excited as much as it was more relief.
I think the Capitals are very capable of winning the Stanley Cup this year, I think it is fair to give them a lot of credit.
Suddenly Ovechkin and Mike Green are better than they ever were on their best days. Very scary. - jimbro83
Which is why this collapsign system is gonan burn us. Mike Green is laughing at us with the amount of time he has to shoot from the point. There's no pressure on the points.
I was sitting behind Lundqvist up about 15 rows or so. The tension in the air all night was insane. The garden was rocking from start to finish. - synthetic150
tomorrow will be my first game of the year I go too, looking forward to seeing the latest renovations!
Thinking of the scene from Airplane where everyone down the line of the plane is awaiting to strike the annoying woman with some sort of blunt object. - B2B76

You get ridiculed because you say the same thing over and over. That is why I'm always so sarcastic with you. You have to bring more to this blog then just hatred of the coach is what you don't get. Most of us here joke about stuff or just shoot the breeze.
I made a truce with you because I was tired of arguing with you. Not knowing you, you come off as someone like Cameron from ferris buellers day off. Very tight, wound up, tense. Try and let go a bit. Joke around a lil. The rangers stress us all out but we can ease tension, where as you seem to build it more.
Your gonna read this and get all defensive like you always do, but try to use it as advice

I wondering where you were! We kept things in order during your absence, Jimmy!

I didn't like the matchup from the start. Looking at how Montreal had unraveled I'm still convinced that would have been better. But that ship sailed. If the caps can win the cup them how far behind are the Rangers?
I don't want to eliminate MTL yet. I should say the way they are unraveling.
Everybody needs a little time away.....I heard her say..... - jimbro83
All I needed was a Rangers playoff win to be productive. Stayed late at work to catch up on some work, cut the grass, took out the garbage, going to the gym later. And I still have a smile on my face
Is it too much to ask for, for a beatdown game once in a while in the playoffs?
The last two years all of our wins have been (frank)ing nailbiters! Can we make Holtby look horrible and have Hank post a shutout on Wednesday night? - evitageN
Why not? Same as game 2 but the garden faithful wills the ranger to a 3-0 win. Where do I sign up?
