The one positive about this year for me is at least the organization has better depth with young players then originally thought at the beginning of the season.

As a Rangers fan, with Ottawa in their way, I am glad to see that the Flyers aren't packing it in.

If we win tonight we will leapfrog a few teams in the standings and really hurt our lotto odds.

I like to see the kids find success but really not much good is going to come from 2 points tonight.

As much as I'd like to see a higher pick, I'm happy to see the kids playing hard and not just packing it in. I've also crossed my fingers and knocked on wood and prayed to the hockey gods that not mailing it in like some of these other teams will allow us to be rewarded with the ping pong balls on Monday.

That would be nice. The hockey gods are long overdue to do the flyers a favor.

We will pass NJ and BUF and if Phoenix loses to Ducks and DAl to playoff bubble Wings then we will fall to 13th.

Sigh.

Great moment. And Giroux's assist was his 200th.

Absolute worst spot to be in. Not in the playoffs and worst lotto odds. Sigh is right.

Sounds like he was a bit mishandled in CBJ. From the gear issue to not real sound coaching. So much of goaltending is mental confidence, and if Reese can help him get it back, this could turn out great....He's still very young, and he's clearly got the ability.

He seems to have some instant chemistry with Giroux and Voracek. The commentator said Giroux was Akesons mentor. Have they played together before, or am I missing something?

It's kind of crazy how much better Mason's body control looks compared to what we've been used to w/ Bryz...

Found out Luke Schenn can play 20 + minutes. Gus and Oliver can play in the NHL. Mason looks very confident.

My favorite, Coots is more then a 4th line center.
