Great to see this team play hard and finish the season strong.

Amazed at how well they played with the current defensive core.

Anyone else think Brandon Manning has been a glorified pylon ever since he got called up?

Ok so who's upset we won?

Who's happy we won?

- FLYERSROCK!

It's tough to be upset they didn't lose, but every single win since they were mathematically eliminated (or even since that loss up in Winnipeg), was pretty pointless, and could be detrimental in the long term.

I was relying on Colorado to win ONE game.... if they had just won a single game, columbus would be in.

You realize that Weber can't be traded until after the 2013 draft, right?

The Flyers won 23 out of 48 games. In NO world are they above .500.

- MBFlyerfan

You really need to get over your hang up about what .500 means in the NHL. It refers to Points percentage, whether you like it or not.

At least one of them should still be on the board wherever the Flyers pick. Could also see a couple high-rated forwards drop as a couple off-the-board selections get made. There really is very little difference between picking 8th and 12th in this deeper-than-average draft year.
- bmeltzer

They've been in "suck for Seth" mode for so long that a little studying into the draft prospects will tell them even better 8th & 12th they'll still find a damn fine prospect to select.

As long as the Flyers don't draft Nichushkin I'm ok.
And as long as Homer doesn't go full retard and pick someone projected to go 18th or later...

I'd take Nichushkin why would you not want his talent?

On the bright side, Mason was a big reason why we won so many games at the end. He started in 4 of our last 6 wins and he finishes with 0.944 avg on 215 shots for the Flyers and a 1.89 GAA in 6 games and a period.

So, the choice hopefully be Nurse and 2 season 0.900 Bryz going into next season or Pullock + the same Bryz + PLUS a potential upper echelon goalie for next season.

Feel better?

I feel like we are gonna draft Domi and have to suffer through the "he was born to be a flyer" crap while ignoring the D once again.

He just signed a 2 year contract with the KHL. Option for a 3rd year
I'm sorry I don't want to wait 3-4 years for him...
I personally think he's overrated. Guy has Radulov written all over him

If we did there will be that but I've watched every London playoff game this season the kid can flat out play.

He was certainty incredible last night with 5 points

Okay that's fine and even with a pick 8th to 12th you'll likely have to wait at least 3 plus years anyway for them to further develop. That part doesn't bother me, I'd rather let the kid develop then rush them and then give up on them in 2 years when they struggle.

3 plus years? I dont think the Flyers are cool with that. I'm pretty sure they wont want to draft a guy that is signed with the KHL and have to battle that headache.

I'm always weary on Russians. Filatov, Radulov are examples. Yakupov is different because he's stated he wants to play in NA, same with Grigorenko. They both declined KHL contracts to play here.
The ones that have panned out Have usually went later.
If Ryan Pulock is still there I want him. We need OFD. We've already got a million DFD, we need and OFD.
Him or Josh Morrissey.
But in no way shape or form and I upset that we won past few games like some fans.

Not saying they would the point is almost any kid they take unless they land a top 3 pick will need more time to develop and that's the likely time frame like it or not doesn't matter if they are in the KHL or not.
