He's a more interesting read then most bloggers, it could always be worse. The Leafs have had years of negative bloggers and writers harping on every fault. I'm curious to see how the Oilers will define themselves in the next few years. Now that I'm living here I have an interest in seeing them do well, I just think they've been rushed.

What's there to sink in? That Oilers management shouldn't have "rushed" their 1st overall picks into the NHL? You say it as though we have any say in what goes on behind closed doors. Besides, 1st overall picks (forwards in particular) rarely go back to their junior teams in the season following their drafts.
