1. I live a block away... it does work the way people want it to work.
2. It is a tower, with a ton of LEDs, so ergo, it is also a big lamp.

1&2) I've seen it flash red before. They did it a few different ways at Christmas and it doesn't look the way people are hoping it will look.

4b) how are we going to see it? TV - which means CBC/TSN should get Bud/MLSE to sponsor a Tower Cam. but then that's biased, and a problem if they're playing the Habs.
So it's a closed circuit camera that airs just in the arena...which isn't as beneficial

well, at this point, they have already decided to light it blue, and have released statements saying they are not doing it. So... changing that now and lighting it red, along with a marketing campaign of why they are doing it, will make it pretty clear they are going with this idea - an idea spawned from Budweiser's Goal Light campaign.

I toured in many many bands.. before i quit.. some of my friends ended up in Bon Jovi, Triumph, Frozen Ghost and playing with Steve Vai.. and many others... so definitely down with music instruction.. music is all about patience unless you have perfect pitch like some of my friends.. who can play any instrument...
