We must question the story logic of having an all-knowing all-powerful God, who creates faulty Humans, and then blames them for his own mistakes - Deadmau55

Yeah I watched Zeitgeist too, He's a star chart. I may not believe in the man but I believe in the message. - ShooterMcGavin
The message is great...
The only unfortunate part is that defending that message has caused some of the most brutal wars in human history. |

That's the problem is they are using his name but not his message. It's like the whole gay marriage debate, they pick and choose what they want from the bible and manipulate it into what works for them and just piss on the rest. Everyone against gay marriage quotes Leviticus, but only what they want from it. Leviticus says that wearing clothes made from blended fibres is a sin and you will go to hell, it also says slavery is OK. I don't believe in organized religion of any form, but I like the stories and I like the messages that the books try to teach before they get corrupted by manipulators and charlatans. I'll stick to Jerry Seigel and Stan Lee for my morality lessons. |

Forgiveness is probably the greatest virtue there is. But that’s exactly what it is -‐ a virtue. Not just a Christian virtue. No one owns being good. I’m good. I just don’t believe I’ll be rewarded for it in heaven. My reward is here and now. It’s knowing that I try to do the right thing. That I lived a good life. And that’s where spirituality really lost its way. When it became a stick to beat people with. “Do this or you’ll burn in hell.”
You won’t burn in hell. But be nice anyway. |

i don't think 'feeling sorry' that a person's life and psyche are so messed up that he's so socially devolved as to carry out murderous acts is a bad thing.
never mind the age even, he could have been 45 and it's still fair to pity the twisted person who did it.
given different circumstances any number of horrible people who have existed in history could have turned out different, it's not wrong to mourn the path they've taken.
Feeling sorry a person such as this for the horrible life choices he's made and the things he's done doesn't mean the victims get less. I don't only have 'so much grief' to go around.
I don't think anyone has said they feel 'more sorry' for the terrorist in this situation, the victims were blameless (which the murderer was most certainly not), but trying to twist the semantics and wording of posts to ridicule or 'shame' a person reeks of the nastiest type of political fear-bullying that's usually seen on partisan political 'news' shows.
It was a horrible thing that happened, lives are lost and ruined, it's tragic for many many reasons. |

So every terrorist that uses gorilla warfare is "twisted"? I guess we should pity the demented George Washington then? After all, didn't he do similar things?
I think a few folks on here are confusing insanity with idealism - they're VERY different.
Insanity is what happened in Aurora, or Conneticut. Idealism is what happened on 9/11, and now again on Monday. |

We just want the Habs. We want to hate them again. Not terrorist hate, but that good old fashioned deep, nostalgic hate we used to know and love as kids.
and idealism is NOT what happened at 911. |

I would take Pens against any team but really would Love getting the Isles in the 1st round.
I don't really want to avoid any team since the Devils aren't making the playoffs but I guess the Rangers because of goaltending. |

Reading this forum gave me brain cancer, it's so off topic it's mind-numbing. I can see the Buffalo/Toronto rivalry takes many forms off of the ice even. |

Seriously why even play the games? No Sid, No MAlkin, No NEal, No Problem with the "suposedy" #2 team. I mean guys its just ridiculous right now. I mean come on im sure teams can beat us sometimes but seriously who can take 4 out of 7. Im going to make a very bold (some what easy) pridiction today and say that the Penguins IF HEALTHY will only lose TWO game maximimum in the whole 2013 NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs.
How is that! |
