With the parity in the league any team that makes the playoffs can make a run. That would make them a contender.

NJ was two wins away last year from winning the cup. I cant say that they were any better than the Leafs are this year.

I for one am happy that the Leafs are in the playoffs. One more year would have been nice to round out a full decade of no playoffs for the Leafs, but it was getting a little too easy. Plus now it will hurt more when you get bounced.

man we're getting poop talked by a guy with a team that won 2 more playoff games then the Leafs did last year and a guy with a team that hasn't won a cup in almost as many years as the Leafs have.....that's league parity! we're right in the mix
