Yeah, you're right, they have been god awful the last 20 games - not sure how they are in a playoff spot right now. |

Seriously? Toronto is 3-1 against Montreal this season. You honestly don't think that counts for anything?

If all goes according to plan it will be a Chicago vs. Pittsburgh final with Pittsburgh taking it in 7. Should be some great series this year.
Conn Smythe: Crosby with 13 goals and 17 assists in the playoffs. |

At this point you should just be happy the Leafs are actually IN the playoffs. |

I don't understand the Toronto love. I get that making playoffs is a big deal but to call them contenders with the depth on center they have is a little far fetched.
When Bozak is the best two way center available it raises question marks.
How will Kadri's line perform against the oppositions shutdown lines in a trap series? Will Grabo even be noticeable? |

yeah, I can't see a team with around fifty points at this point being a legit contender...the Leafs are more in that 2nd tier with the Vancouvers |

We know...There no chance the leafs win a single game come playoff time... |

I'd like to know what would happen if Kadri or Grabo took several punches to the face. Would they just sit there and take it? Inquiring minds would like to know. |

lol that's not what i'm saying, anything can happen in the playoffs with a little luck. I'm merely making reference to the leaf fans who believe their team ranks among the Chicago's and Pittsburgh's of the league.

I predict the Leafs will win their first game or two in the playoffs, then Leafs fans will anoint them Cup champs only to have them lose 4 consecutive games.
Seriously, if I was Leafs fan I would just be thrilled that they are even in the playoffs. Playoff hockey in HD is something to see. |

I made the mistake of using recent history as an influence and picked them to make it a decade without playoff hockey. Woulda been fun if they could have made it one full decade without playoffs, but 9 years is a pretty good run. I know I've enjoyed it. |
