Me too, would also be interested in seeing who others rank as the top 10 prospects. For what its worth here is mine:

1. Seth Jones
2. Nathan MacKinnon
You could easily flip these 2, but from a Flyers perspective, Jones would be #1

3. Alexander Barkov
4. Jonathan Drouin
Yes I know Drouin is a human highlight reel and his skills are off the charts, but Barkov is the total package and I believe his game is complete enough to step in immediately. I also have seen multiple clips of Drouin flying thru the neutral zone with his head down, and at the NHL level that could lead to trouble.

5. Valery Nichushkin
I've only seen him play in the World Juniors, but he was dominant and appears to have as much pure talent as anyone in this draft

6. Sean Monahan
Kid could become the next Ron Francis, however he could also become the next Mike Ricci

7. Darnell Nurse
You got to admit, having Donovan McNabb's nephew play in Philly would be interesting to say the least.

8. Elias Lindholm
9. Rasmus Ristolainen
10. Max Domi
Lindholm has good, safe pick written all over him while Ristolainen according to all scouting reports I have seen looks like he will be a solid top 4, possible top 2 defenseman for a long time. Domi has been flying up all scouting lists and could be the sleeper of this draft.

You should take a d-man in the 1st round, no brainer.

No we shouldn't, if he's not the best on the board in the spot we pick we don't need to reach.

So Philly should take Nurse if they get the 2nd or 3rd pick?

I'd wonder how many scouts like Rasmus Ristolainen over Darnell Nurse.

I know I do over Nurse.

They should take the best player on the board, regardless of position. They shouldn't ignore a guy like MacKinnon to take Nurse, just because he's a defenseman.

Whether it's tuning out the coach (which I believe is the case) or "tanking" the effort is disgraceful.

They are losing to some seriously bad teams.

I think for this team it is an all time low.

I'd trade Hartnell to fill the need on the top end of the D.
That said I don't think the Flyers will, and fully expect him to have a bounce back season next year.

I think Nurse has a higher ceiling, but Ristolainen is less raw in terms of his development.

It's not by a wide margin. Don't get me wrong both are good talents and I wouldn't be upset if they took either.

With all the Eric Hartzell talk, I wonder why they're not revisiting Joacim Eriksson.

I wouldn't be bothered in the least if they ended up with Ristolainen or Nurse.

I'm also wondering why they haven't kicked the tires on Mathias Niederberger (undrafted) from Barrie who are now in the Eastern Finals for the OHL playing against Belleville

Is there anyone in the top ten that you are worried about?
The Russian forward not coming over to play, or any that seem like potential busts?

Players should never throw games or take it easy because the team is out of it. However, human nature makes it difficult when you're out of it.It's getting close to mathematical elimination. When they get there Timo, Hartnel and any other banged up guys should be shut down. Not to get a higher pick, just for practical purposes. A high second round pick in this draft should yield a decent prospect.

Valeri Nichushkin is just from the chance he won't come over (not sure if that a big worry right now)

Hunter Shinkaruk, I want to see him get stronger on the puck in all situations right now he's pushed off it easily and when it happens can show disinterest

MacKinnon is a 1st overall pick. You won't be able to pick him (hopefully).

Seth Jones is the best d-man in this class and he'll be taken 2nd.

I'm counting on the Flyers picking 5th or something like that nature.

They're not really jammed. They have Stolarz, who is good, but probably a few years away. They have Heeter, who has some promise, but isn't as highly regarded as Stolarz. There's room for additional goalies.

during the mimi win streak, only two of their goals were PP goals- i thought perhaps they were straightening out the 5 on 5 scoring woes
