Teams with potential buyouts will certainly shop those players around. The NMCs will cause some problems though.

Very true, forgot about that part with Campbell again. Sooo yeah, I'll edit my previous statement to it depends on what Campbell would want to do as for what Florida would be able to get back in return . See if Campbell picks 1 destination (i.e. Gagne to Tampa or Iginla to Pit) and see Florida get a lesser return. If not, they buy him out or keep him.

Awesome. Were the 67's games in recent years? Would be awesome to have seen Ceci, Monahan, and Toffoli play on the same team.
- five4fighting10

It was they played Laughton and Oshawa that game. It was over a year ago and I knew of Ceci for the draft but was told by some at the game to keep an eye on Monahan.

Ottawa right now is playing at the home of the Senators while their barn is getting updated. I will say Gatineau has a really sweet place to see hockey.

Kingstons building is very nice too but it was more recently done

This is a heads up but the 2014 draft class already has an awesome early group of prospects.

That is a good list, but where in the blazing hell is Sam Reinhart? He's expected to be the best of the Reinharts. He had a fantastic season on a terrible Kootenay team. He will be a top 5 player in the 2014 draft, and has a shot at 1st overall IMO. How he's not on that list i'll never know.

EDIT: 62P in 67GP as a 15/16 year old, then 85P in 72GP as a 16/17 year old. He will be over 100P next year easily. Kid is a star. Idk how he is not on that list.

bryz has been ok overall. it's the term that kills and that's why i think he'll be amnestied after nxt yr. frankly, if a few of the names being discussed become available, i would do it after this yr...but that's just me. both eskin and garrioch indicated that bryz will be back nxt yr.

i don't like that team, but if WSH won that would be ok...would certainly balance out the crosby narrative that we're all sick of.
- isaiah520

i don't like the leafs either, but that's a great fan base. that they haven't even been to the finals since expansion is just mind boggling.

I know a lot about Nurse, but I don't know a lot about Zadorov or Ristolainen? Are they significantly below Nurse or on the same level? Both are big boys, especially Zadorov.

Bryz hasn't been the problem that's for sure. However, if and only if, the GM can improve the team by getting rid of Bryz then so be it.

Yeah, that's the weird part, although I think the Pens will still control his rights this summer

I just wonder how much interest there really was league wide. In comparison, Straka gets a three year deal from the Flyers with a signing bonus. The Flyers may have overpaid, but it would certainly suggest there was some pretty good competition for Straka's services based on the contract he signed.

Well, if Hartzell is a UFA this summer, and has a good run with SWB, maybe he gets a bigger offer. I'm trying to see if he's a UFA or RFA in July.

No he doesn't. He's held his own in this League as a 19 year old player. He just needs to be allowed to grow. Many preach the that the Flyers should show patience with young players. The fans should practice what they preach.

Under the terms of the CBA, all they are allowed to offer him is a one year ELC due to his age.

He'll be an RFA. He's 23. As long as the Pens qualify him.

Coots should only be traded for blueline help for guys who I think just aren't available under any circumstance (ie Pietrangelo). If he is moved for a lesser tier d-man, then Homer and the organization need to be heavily criticized.
