You are right, Cappy will prob get the extension (and he is like a puppet for Wang/Snow, so he fits the bill)
But Weight and Thompson are the ones motivating this team... along with the players. - Bags502
he lost me when they were losing earlier on and he said he does not know what else to do, After that I knew he was not a coach. How you do not know what to do with your team is beyond me |

Just a feeling I get from watching interviews... Weight and Thompson come off so much more as a coaching/teaching/motivational figures for these players. But yea, I could be totally wrong and Cappy could be totally different behind closed doors. - Bags502
Weight is the one who is screaming and yelling at these guys in the locker room. He is the motivating force here. Cappy has not done that in the two years he has been here so I dont expect him to all of a sudden get it now |

Why would that be hard? Most of them are already locked up long term and for cheap - Vukota
Down the road, I was thinking, Snow has to keep has Core guys together.
Not hating on Cappy, just think a vet head coach would be able to mould some of these kids into stars. |

Agree with you on both points... When he was looking for excuses earlier in the year, you knew he was done. He's just a name holding the job for now. Weight is the motivator but I also like what I hear from Thompson when he does interviews. (I have seen Cappy a little more emotional on the bench of late tho... Seeing Weight yell and then getting results, maybe he is trying something a little different.) |

Not for nothing but if you think Capuano is the guy getting this team going you must be high. I put it more on the players and the other coaches behind the bench. That being said I am glad we are winning. If we make the playoffs we will say what type of coach Cappy is. Also because of this Cappy will get an extension - kasperrko
So when their winning it's the players... but when they were losing it was the coach... |

Not really I mis spoke I will say it is more Weight and Thompson. We will see though. First lets make the playoffs before praising Cappy |

Could not agree more with this. I mean Grabner should be up maybe on the first line but he buries down. I personally feel Grabner is in his doghouse but only God knows why. And when he challenged his first line that was laughable as well |

You could be but you're not. Lol. I've heard enough past players if his give the run down on his coaching abilities to form enough of an opinion. Is it right I think so but if other people don't think so that's fine. I'll keep my thought just the same. |

I know we are capable to win, but I think it will be a tough task just the same. Teams are coming in ready to battle now and they are not looking past us. Hope one of the other teams hit a wall and fall out of the race, just keep winning your games boys!!!! |

Grabner gets no respect from the coaching staff. You want proof watch Thompson's last btn period interview where he was still being hard on the guy after he scored a goal and kicked ass on the pk. Grabner is one of the most effective, versatile players on the team. Guy still pots goals playing with the bottom of the barrel at times. |

Don't need too, that's what the press gets paid to do. Read Justin Bourne's last interview where he described Capuano as the most undisciplined coach he's ever played for and described every game as a free for all. |

Actually. He's not that bad defensively. If you're calling him bad defensively than moulson is deplorable. |

Wang will not fire him. If we are still in Nassau he will sign him for another year. We make the playoffs knowing Wang he will give him like a three year extension |

I beleive that was Cappy biggest gripe from him. I dont know I think he is one of our better players we have. Granted his breakaways suck but everything elese is dead on |

This is beyond obvious a question you are using to get me in a long winded, boring debate. If you need proof that's fine. I understand. Debate away |
