The goal should have never happened with the pick that should have been called but it was a hell of a shot from the slot.

He had a hit in game 3 that knocked the player out of that game and that same player isn't playing in game 4

if i'm concerned about anything regarding today's bryzness, it's that there is someone on the team or elsewhere in the org that is trying to sabotage bryz...not that he actually was sleeping during a meeting.

i'd say in the pecking order of what's going on this yr, that there would be lower hanging fruit than bryz on this team.

This whole thread is like some sort of giant pity party. It's one bad (and short) season. It happens. Get over yourselves for crying out loud.

This is one of the most successful hockey franchises ever. We've won more playoff games in the past 10 years than all but one team. We're perennial playoff contenders, with very few exceptions. Our overall winning percentage is second in the league behind only Montreal. And we still hold the record for the longest unbeaten streak in the NHL. It's not like we're the Panthers or some poop and we just suck ad nauseum.

Yes, we haven't won a Cup in a while. And that can certainly be frustrating. I want a Cup just as much as the next guy. But please stop with all the BS about how screwed up the organization is, and how we need wholesale organizational changes, have no identity, etc., etc. Is it perfect? No, but even including this season, this is still one of the best franchises in all of sports. There may be some changes this summer. It wouldn't surprise me at all since it's been a down year this year for sure. But we'll be back. We always are.

So cowboy the (frank) up for crying out loud. It's one bad year. And a short one at that. Some of you folks are worse than the frigging Courier-Post with your BS.

I'm not a fan of players talking bad about there teammate to the media. Keep that in the locker room. If your man enough to make that statement then put a name on it.

i can't imagine running to a writer about anything in that situation, but some of these guys are very young and/or immature.

And a concussion is an UBI right?

While Shero has come out and said as much, if you break your jaw and have had at least one mild concussion, let alone a major one and countless others, you are very likely to have reoccurring concussion symptoms from the broken jaw. At least that's what I got from my doctor when I asked him the other day out of curiosity.

- GirouxForTheShow

You're Doctor hasn't treated Crosby. The Pens Organization has strongly refuted that Crosby has concussion symptoms.

I agree, 100%

Even if Bryz did fall asleep, the guy spreading the rumor is a guy I'd like to flesh out

Reading that article you would think the locker room is mixed towards Bryz.

Just because we are all doing it haha:

1. Find a consistent organizational identity and stick with it
2. Replace Lava
3. Buy out Briere and Bryzgalov
4. Sign Emery or Backstrom. Explore Hiller.
5. Trade Coburn and Hartnell in the right deals. Their statistical production may not be immediately replaced. Ideally for young help on D.
6. Target Streit as a stopgap. As well as Giordano/Yandle via trade.
7. Sorround the young core of players with veteran leadership that brings what was lost with the departures of Primeau, Pronger, Lappy and Jagr.
8. Draft Smart. If the Flyers fail to have the chance to go after MacK, Drouin, Jones or Barkov then grab one of Nurse/Ristolainen/Pulock or Zadorov.

Thank you for you're insight. You also haven't treated Crosby. And my guy is a trained medical professional. I'll go with my doctor on this one. Why wouldn't the Penguins deny it? What good does it do to say, yep he's concussed, sorry Iggy for false advertising?

Why won't Crosby come back?
- MJL

Imho, they're being awfully silent about the whole thing. Or maybe I'm just not paying close enough attention. But with his recent history it wouldn't surprise me if he has a concussion.

What is written shouldn't have an impact on the ice. The players go out and play hockey. They are professional athletes and need to have thick skin. The team is losing bc they are getting outplayed not bc the media writes bad articles about them imo.
