And he's been a better offensive player than Giroux was at the same age, which is promising.

This is not to insinuate that Schenn is going to put up 90 pts a season, just that he's young and has had a relatively good year offensively.

- bradleyc4

Agreed. I'm not worried about Schenn. He's had his ups and downs, but I at the very least find it encouraging that he's overcome some of his struggles through the season.

So true. Imagine if this was a full season.. damn, i never even thought of that
- jak521

If this was a full season injuried wouldn't cripple us for as many games. Our coach would have time to correct bad habits and we'd have a MUCH better idea of what Lavi truly brings to this organization besides when to call timeouts. I don't think we'd be this bad if it was full season.
And yes I'm still peeved at the NHL for ANOTHER completely avoidable lockout shortened season...

Today is beer brewing day here.

In the past I've named some after the Flyers, like Hartnell Down Porter, Pronger's Big Red Ale, and G Force Saison.

I think I'm going with "Lottery Pick Lager" for today's batch.
Feel free to substitute "Fire Lavi Lager" if you want.

Mason should have stuck out is left pad to stop the slide of Gustafsson. Should had that one!
- MJL

I was seriously waiting for him to have a seasno ending injury after being run over when the puck was nowhere near him on that blatant no-call...
Welcome to Philly kid.

Anyone else think Mason looks like a 12 year old who took a growth potion?

no question, right after the time out, get the f-in line change

Lavi was furious

he would have slapped Leino upside his head if he was still on the bench

The thing is, it's hardly the first time they have been burned by guys being overaggressive or recklessly stupid. It happens with everyone, not just the kids.

Can't preach go, go, go and then be upset when they go too far.

Bill has even told us that he is glad to see Knuble back for his accurate and refreshing analysis of the game to the media. Makes me think they avoid him cuz he can dish it just as good as he takes it and in a GOOD way. Fine. No one talks to the media except Knuble.

In honor of Harry Mayes' erroneous Sleeping Bryz report, how about "Bryz's English Bitter"?

Pretty good john, I like that one. How about one of these:

Wellwood's Red Ale? - this is bad but still I found funny (heal well and get back to us soon kiddo)
Bryz's Dark Night Stout
Luke's Magnetic Visor Lager
C.G.P.A. - Captian Giroux's Pale Ale

Why the frell play him if he has a chance to get hurt again? Good rest him up, get him ready for next season. Can we do the same for Timmonen? Call up Syvret and let's see what he can do!

Good and bad. Good cuz it will prove he is "healthy" for the buyout and maybe bring some trade partners back to the dance floor. Bad because it will leave him open for injury which has to be healed before June 15th!

Build up that trade value

I'd rather see McGinn play, unless they actually feel that they can trade Briere & hang out to a buyout for next summer.

Reports are Grossmann is having vision issues. Sounds promising.

Add him to Meszaros who can't be counted on for next season.

We know what Syvret can do. He's John Slaney.
