Even if he ends up being the backup next year its an upgrade from Leighton.
- stveshdy

If he can play like he has tonight, he'd be a solid backup for sure

He needs someone to shame him in to working hard on and off the ice again like Jagr did.
- MBFlyerfan

Gotta believe he's playing hurt. He looks a lot slower than normal.

this game is really about which team wants it less.

the Flyers obviously want it less than do the Isles.

the urgency is simply not there. not even close.

Hartnell is making every wrong choice in this game. having said that, i think he pots one.

The was like the first sustained effort I've seen in the last two games...they know that a loss tonight pretty much means they're done, right?

he'd have to be in front of the net for that to happen.

I don't see that's. Flyers just suck. Islanders are a better team

Voracek is the only forward I see doing anything particularly useful out there tonight. Other than the Alumni line.

This game is not on Mason. he's been Ok or slightly better. The team gives too many odd man rushes and just doesn't score enough. They need a 1st line scoring forward to complement G and Voracek.

Does this team realize how big this game is? It doesn't seem like it.

He should be on the first line over Hartnell, IMO.

the Isles may or may not be a better team ... but outside of a handful of shifts tonight they have definitely been the harder working.

and hard work, more times than not, will get you the 2 points.
