Not a lot of pictures of him making saves.
- Jsaquella

there should be some photos of him from the 1987 Round 1, 4OT Game 7 against the islanders. he was fabulous in that game. too bad he lost.

by reading these comments I'm guessing there's no middle ground for Mason tonight? either he's absolute crap and should never play another game for the Flyers, or he's the greatest goalie in the league and goodbye Bryz?

just want to make sure I'm on the same page with everyone.

- FlyerGuy

who is Mason?

He was. He wasn't a bad goalie for the era.

in hindsight, i think vic's vapor-curve flows better. oh, well.

mine was 14 sizes too big and i still used it.

Only if he is available to start the second period.

Actually Mason didn't look completely horrid, but I thought that was kind of a weak goal. Not exactly making folks forget about Bryz with his performance so far, but it's early...

There's still plenty of time for him to completely blow it.

It was a bit weak, but the defense didn't help him much.

to be honest, neither one of these teams looks like they deserve to be in the playoffs.

Agreed. Just doing my unreasonable Flyer fan impersonation. My actual expectations are much more realistic.

As long as he stops every shot he ever faces from now on he'll be fine.

Sure hope he doesn't get another 'fighting with a shield' penalty here.

Who gives a poop? No one expects him to win that. He does that to stick up for his goalie, which is what you want to see with playoff-hungry teams.

It's a good thing the Flyers got Rosehill so the skill guys don't have to fight anymore.

don't know how that's not goaltender interference, plenty of time and space to avoid running mason
