I can see this current Ranger team taking on the same dynamic of the 11-12 Rangers.
We have more grit now, scoring still is a major problem but i like the fact that we opened up cap space.
Its been a pretty depressing season so far, its nice to have something positive to talk about, even just for one game.
Oh yeah and, Derek Stepan |

Canucks looked good last night EK, NYR vs Canucks final? - LeftCoaster
Sedins are the loser twins w no support around him. Rangers stink. This cup final rematch of 94 is almost close to impossible. |

I think people hate the Rangers so much that it affects their common sense.
If Detroit had acquired Brassard, it would be "cool" to predict he would become a 70 point player in the league - jimbro83
Definitely true for some but not for me.
Huge Nash fan and already have home and away jerseys. I watched the Jackets for years and have seen Brassard's struggles. I like your optimism but you will be talking about Moore and Dorsett long after Brassard is playing for the Whale. |

I think this trade hurts Columbus with in a couple of years. What people fail to mention is the price Gaborik carries and how improving a team who's pick you hold is cutting off your nose to spite your face.
Gaborik will probably help in the short term. They should be able to catch Detroit with their goaltending and defense they have a slight advantage over Edmonton. But they will have to do it on the road.
After making a terrible trade for Nash by paying too much the Blueshirts right their ship with this trade specifically. Adding Clowe is gravy especially when Clowe probably has something to prove now on two fronts.
Too many times the Rangers fall in love with the glitz of offensive weapons. A balanced attack is much more fulfilling for a team than a big line. |

who did the Rangers give up for Nash that makes you think they made a "terrible" trade? and, when you answer consider that Dubinsky has a 4.25 million cap hit and has scored 1 goal since last April.

too bad we all can't have the league arrange for us to get the best player in the draft |
