- JoeRussomanno

Nope, just that they seem to be keeping Bryzgalov with Mason as the backup next year, at least

Not really. It was very unlikely that they would be able to trade Briere. And they weren't going to trade Coburn, even if he was healthy.
- MJL

Briere is untradeable. Just like Brian Campbell. I think one of the dmen could have gotten traded if they were healthy

I assume we can use the buyout at anytime before next seasons start? So in theory Danny has all summer to heal up? Anyone know?

1:30 into the video, Holmgren says that he feels there's a way to work with "Steve and his agent to lower his salary" and follows it up by saying there's already been talks.

- Jsaquella

Yeah... he "feels" that... but the Flyers haven't really had their crap together when it comes to the intricacies of the CBA, have they?

I'm glad the Flyers didn't make the mistake of trading a defenseman. Especially Coburn. Which would of been a big mistake.

Not at any time. Only during the buyout period. Right before the draft.

I am thrilled we have a 2nd pick, now Homer will select a center with the first and a D man with the 2nd and trade one of the centers for another Dman at the draft

The way they've managed to utilize the LTIR exemption shows they are adept at CBA management

We aren't CBA experts but its not like we are staffing Feasters crew or anything. And so far well be able to afford everything at the start of next season. The penguins will be shaking players off their books like used cat litter.

I'm really disappointed that Rosehill didn't get in the lineup tonight. Who the hell is going to protect Giroux?
