Heard Bishop's name being mentioned as return. Evidently Calgary needs as many goalie prospects in the system as other players - Sam67
i'd do a bishop for glencross deal in a second.....especially with anderson looking almost ready to return |

I like that deal for both sides, especially if CGY can move Kipper for a pick or prospect. Makes a ton of sense. |

I don't think CGY should move Glencross. You need experience and vet's in the room. Can't go with 21 kids |

I don't like this trade one bit. Bouwmeester had a year left on his contract and he basically got the same as Iginla . |

Feester needs to be fired. I always root for Calgary and they got fleeced on both the Iginla and Bo deal, (even though Iginla wasn't much of his fault). Bo should have fetched atleast a 1st and a GOOD prospects... not a 1st and 2 prospects who most likely will never be impact players. |

Haven't both Cammy and Glencross been rumored to have some personality problems in the locker room before? I heard that's why Edmonton let Glencross go. |

that would be the perfect idea for the Flames but the way Feaster is going He might trade those picks for no name prospects..yikes btw just heard Feaster in sportnet so His plan is to offer big money to UFA players next season with all the money he is saving |

Colin Dambrauskas: Flames Give Permission to Leafs to speak to Kiprusoff... - Colin Dambrauskas
Anyone know how to get that puke taste out of your mouth? I'm just sick about this deal. I may have to boycott this team until they hire a real GM. I think Ewards is so pissed that they sucked & he had to trade his golden boy Iggy to a real contender, he will want to run at the cap floor for awhile & let this team suck. Excuse me, I have to go throw up again |

If they trade Kipper for a 3rd and a no name... I will cry. - j.henderson
At the rate things are going, we should praise The Lord, hallelujah! I don't think Feaster thinks we have enough magic beans yet. |

I thought teams trading players are allowed to retain up to half a players cap hit? Why didn't Feaster do this to increase his trade value? EK wrote a blog about it... |

all feaster had to do was say, "we'll eat 2 mil of his cap hit next year", and he would have had teams like mtl, ott, phi, det, stl, la, etc, knocking down his door to get j-bo at a 4.8mil cap hit. it's not like calgary will be spending to the cap next year.
this was a TERRIBLE trade.....feaster is now in milbury territory of incompetence |
