It's a solid trade. Murray set the market and Darcy got fair market value. Those second round picks should be used in a package with a Sabres roster player to fetch a bigger return or to improve draft position.

I would have preferred a somewhat proven commodity - - young roster player and later pick or a top end prospect, but cannot blame Darcy because the Kings weren't will to deal those assets and it seems that they had the best offer for Regehr.
