Yeah CBJ has 3 first rounders this year and they're willing to deal one of them supposedly.

Don't know but I wouldn't mind getting Eller and Gallagher for Pommer from the Habs.

It makes sense. But, at the same time, I don't know that Smith leaves Phoenix. They'll need to make some sort of push for him to stay since all of their goalies need contracts this year.

Smith is waiting for the ownership situation to get resolved. Which it doesnt look like they will be staying in the desert much longer. Doan gave them the home town treatment about giving them all the time to figure it out I dont think Smith will wait that long

yeah brassard hasn't gotten above 47 points in a year and hasn't played a full 82 game season yet. And a late 1st round pick. I dont like pommer that much but i do think he's worth more than that.

I'm pretty sure he was a coach for Niagara University... Not part of the organization but still local.

He coached the Amerks for a year and was a volunteer coach for Niagara (he wasnt on the bench)

It's hard to say. He wasn't very good when he was with Tampa, and now he's with Phoenix and has been a lot better. I don't think it's a coincidence either that Bryzgalov isn't anywhere near as good with Philly as he was with Phoenix. I think there's a large part of their success wrapped up in that Phoenix organization. I don't know if it's working with Sean Burke or if Tippett's system is the reason, but he may be best off staying with that organization, no matter where they end up.
