I like Lars Eller a lot but I don't think the habs would move him. I like Leblanc and Tinordi though.

NJ could be an interesting landing spot for him. Here's the other thing though, do you think Minnesota buys Harding out at the end of the season? He seems to be a huge risk now that he's been diagnosed with MS. It's why he's been out since the first few weeks into the season.

He hasn't played since Feb 7th. He had 1 good game this season and the other 3 were not so great.

I think they buy him out but I am not sure the terms of the CBA if he is eligible to be bought out (i dont think he is). Minny has Hackett who is the heir apparent to the starting job in a few years or so as well. I personally dont think Hackett is ready for the work load which is why I could see Smith being there for 2 seasons

It makes sense. But, at the same time, I don't know that Smith leaves Phoenix. They'll need to make some sort of push for him to stay since all of their goalies need contracts this year.
