Stepan has been the best story on this team so far. Can you imagine if Stepan was playing like this and Richards was actually earning a third of his check? - MidnightMarauder
That was the plan in the summer of 2011 and to be honest I was more worried Stepan wouldn't develop quickly enough to be counted on as the #2. I was wrong. He has looked like a real #1 for the last 25 games here. Very impressed. |

The Rangers would be in 5th or 6th instead of 8th. |

Now add 3 SO's for Hank and your looking at atleast 5-8 more wins. Hell of a difference a few stats make. |

You wan't the the kid to learn then play him. I don't find it that complicated. Torts played him the playoffs when a Stanely cup was on line. PLAY HIM. |

Honestly, it's a big game and Kreider hasn't been very good all year long. So it doesn't bother me much. |

It was always hard to say for me because I never see O'Reilly much. But I always saw Step was a smart player; I just didn't know if he'd score enough.
Nash!!!!! Leads team in goals again!!!! |

And maybe Gaborik scoring once in a while but that seems too much to ask for. |

I disagree. He was the best player not named Lundvist vs. the Sens, then in the 3rd period of that game he's seen more pine time than ice time. Why even have have him on the roster? Send him down and call up Haley. Scrattch on of Haley or Asham the rest of the way. How hard would that be? |

Lol Nash didn't want to share the team lead in goals, if only Gaborik had similar desires |

I wish they left him in the minors. They are messing him up big time |

He doesn't play enough to determine if his play is poor or not. |

I agree, I think Torts is ruining him, but, if all three lines are going, a win is a must at this point. |

Was Tort ruining him when he 5 goals in his first 36 games in the AHL this year? Kreider bears some personal responsibility for his struggles as well. |
