I think Erhoff is the one we one we would like back from Buffalo. The PP has not looked the same since he left.

Yzerman's exact quote to LeBrun:

"Marty St. Louis is not going to be traded. He remains one of the best players in the league and an extremely important player to our team, both on and off the ice. We are a team in transition, we just made a coaching change, Marty is one of the leaders of the team, he is not going anywhere."

If he said that, turned around and traded Marty, he'd be run out of town faster than any GM in history.

Interesting. He would be a good fit with Kesler.

The success of the PP depends completely on the Sedins... Ehrhoff won't fix that disaster

Not saying that Yzerman is lying or anything, but what is your boss always says about GM's claiming that player "x" will not be traded? He says, that what the GM means is that right now, at this moment, I am not considering trading player "x", but anything can happen between right now and five minutes from now

"He is not going anywhere," is pretty clear to me. Like I said, this isn't just some player who's had success with the Lightning. This is the heart and soul of our hockey club. He's still producing, he's still got term on his contract, and he's a pillar in the community. Nothing I've been told indicates that he has any desire to leave Tampa.

Now we have a first line that is entirely too predicable.
2nd line of 3rd liners
3rd line of too slow, too old and too young
4th line of auditioners.

I miss Torres the most. He was an ass but he made a difference rather than Higgens who often goes a game without a shot or a hit.

What the hell is Higgins good for?

Maxim Lapierre was brought in for 4th line "assholimungus." Now he is counted on to score in the shootout? Can he take anymore offensive zone or back checking penalties?

HANSEN. The only guy who is worth anything.

KASSIAN: Needs time. The only one in the bunch who could be a power forward.

He had 29 points on the PP in his last year in Van. Other than Salo all of the other main players are still there. It doesn't take a genius to figure out he was an integral part of their PP.

You're so kind. What would we have to trade you for some of that class you're so overabundant in?

Ian: Over value Jensen much? At best he might be worth a 4th or 5th round pick in this years draft.

Yeah, just putting an Ek-ism out there, I don't think he's on the move either.

Well... He's no Ales Hemsky but I'm pretty sure a 1st round pick from last year and top prospect would be worth at least another 1st round pick.

Maybe we would need to add Hall to that deal afterall we wouldn't want to take advantage of Vancouver.

I think you're reading to much into this, Kassian hasn't played in a long time and he's struggled offensively playing on the 5th line. IMO this is what you're going to see next year, an influx of youth, we're gonna need some ELC on the books. What's the harm in seeing what Jensen has? Providing AV doesn't play him four minutes on the fourth line.
