Exactly my thinking.
Tampa for Connolly and Conacher

- BuffaloHardHat

I would take either one of them and a 1st instead of both of them.

Only if they throw in Brown and Nolan!
- The_Inkwell

Brown has all of a sudden turned it on. He's been pretty good recently after a slow start to the season.

Then you gotta trade Miller somewhere as well.
- LetsGoBuffalo75

And we should get a really good return for him
Might not happen till the offseason,
But at this point I'd be shocked not to see Miller traded
There's no way he's gonna want to re-sign here

I have a feeling Miller will be moved at the draft. Not really sure why. Just a gut feeling.

I hope its before. I'd like to see Leggio up here for the duration.
Kid has rocked a near .940 save % since the lockout ended.

At least he got a 2nd for Leopold, think he could've done better than a conditional 5th for the second pick though.

I'll admit, I'm a bit intrigued by Leggio, but I still have a bad feeling he would get lit up here.

I think you're right. I think at least one "fan favorite" goes at the deadline, and another - probably Miller - at the draft.

Anything for him is a bonus. He was signed here as a UFA. They managed to turn him into at least 1 draft pick. Especially with the way he's been playing this year.

These past few days have been the highlight of the season.

Hopefully Darcy can keep it going. His motto this week should be "make an offer"

Muzzin is a guy that's piqued my interest lately.
- HonkFortheGoose

He reminds me a lot of McNabb actually
Not really "offensive" but plays the point on the pp... Nice shot...
And he's big & physical
Only thing I don't like is he's ANOTHER Lh defenseman,
But I'm more worried about getting as much talent as possible back
He was paired w Doughty the other night against StL and looked pretty decent

My fear is that they move Pommer and then Miller goes on a tear like he did last year after Gaustad got traded. I know they still have no chance of making the playoffs, but it'll kill our draft position.

Everytime he talks u can hear the frustration in his voice
Why stay here when he could get just as much $$$ to go play for a "contender" instead of waste more time here through a "rebuild"?
It just wouldn't make sense for him to stay

You might be right Goosie. But we will never know unless we give it the old college try.

edit: afterall what do we have to lose this season?

A lot of our guys in Rochester are actually a right shot, so I think it'll even out at some point.

Plus, if they can get Seth Jones, he shoots right as well.

I agree. To be honest, I was hoping that Leggio would get claimed on waivers early in the season. I think he deserves some sort of shot in the NHL but at the same time, I wanted to open up some space in Rochester for Knapp and Lieuwen. IMO, it would have been a win-win situation.

I could see that
I think prob Pommer at the deadline
And the Miller and possibly Vanek in the offseason

Stafford, Hecht & Regehr also gone at the deadline IMO

The best part about this trade, other than the 2nd round pick, is the fact that mcnabb or pysick will take that roster spot full time next year!
