That's a fair deal but I have my concerns about Myers. It's very intriguing though not going to lie. I don't mind parting with Maggie although I've loved his game so far. It's just that pick could be top 5 or 12. Hard to gauge.

Getting another second with our two seconds already might allow us to get back in the first round.

I would accept Hall, Eberle, or your 1st and Magnus. Myers with an actual NHL coach and some discipline is a stud

Lupul has nine (frank)ing points, and is made of glass, bumps into a guy and breaks his arm. A guy that can't skate around without making illegal checks to the head and getting suspended and not break something when he bumps into a guy isn't gonna get ya too far in the playoffs. lets say we get the 5th overall. u think we could do better than myers? a trade for myers would be based mostly on potential and flashes of how good he could be. and this is because hes struggled for over a season now.

any dman thats actually playing at the level we're hoping for in return when we gave such a valuable package probably isnt available.

If its a top 5 pick there is a chance it coulf be Jones. I get that you want someone proven now, but the cupboards are still fairly bare for the Oil. If we start trading first away already we'll be in trouble in a few years again. Just my opinion but I dont trade the first now. Possibly this summer depending on what all transpires.
