I'm not sure Lightning fans would do that deal for Vanek or Myers what on earth makes you think they would consider doing that for Miller - Sabresfan-365

He's on the wrong message board. If you want a lob sided and favourable trade go ask Calgary fans - Sabresfan-365
Any message board discussing the Bruins, Flames and Penguins is just a riot right now. |

Miller has many years to go too, and none where nearly as established as Miller, and if miller lands their, it most likely wont be a top five pick - Mentalorgasm5
Look what happens when I go to bed early! I think would trade his first rounder and here's why: adding Ryan Miller to team with good defense and sick offense, we probably won't make the playoffs, but it won't be a top 5 pick anymore. |

Purcell, Garon, and a 1st for Miller and a second. |

It depends what the price would be. Miller is aging an is on the decline - OilerFanFromBC
He's 32 and what's declining is the team in front of him. |

Trading Hedman for a goaltender will not happen. - Michael_Stuart
Well Miller to Tampa without salary coming back to Buffalo is not happening. With Miller they are over the salary cap for next year by 2 Million and need to sign a few players still. Buffalo IS NOT taking on Cap for Tampa. This trade will not happen WITHOUT the Sabres taking Salary on. So if not Hedman who is coming back that is 4 million or more? Purcell? Malone? |

if we take someone like malone from you i would guess that Miller's price would go up.. Malone, Lindbach, 1st and 3rd for miller
based upon the salary implications i don't see them being trading partners, but we have somethign you want. |

I was thinking Malone being the main piece that Tampa would trade however he is injured so thats why I went with Hedman in my first statement. I also do not see Tampa being a trading partner WITHOUT sending some salary our way. I agree Tampa would want Miller. The question is this, are they willing to trade a good piece of their roster for a number 1 goaltender. Maybe they are maybe they are not. |

You say Miller has struggled this year...while true in some limited number of games as with any goaltender; on the whole though for the season, Miller has been very good while absorbing 30 -35 shots per game many of which are in close. millers is a true #1, Sabres problems are with their boneheaded D-men and lazy forwards...that is why their GA sucks |

Um, no. Yzerman doesn't have "COMPLETE (frank)ING MORON" tattooed on his forehead. |

No deals including Connolly. Beyond that the Bolts would have to send back salary to make this work. Granted Malone and Brewer will be bought out/traded after this year so we will open a little space but Yzerman doesn't do anything that ties his hands and a deal for Miller without sending salary back does just that.

miller has not been a vezina goalie since the season he won it. a solid goalie yes but not top 5 in the league anymore.
quick, price, fluery, luongo, hiller, ward , kipper, rinne all better in my opinion. hes in the category with howard, niemi, crawford etc. you're getting a 1A goalie to go with enroth, a 2nd rounder, and a top 6 forward. more than enough return. - boltsfan48
Hill? Ward? Kipper?
You're joking. Millers career stats are right up there with luongo rinne and lundqvist, and he can still single handedly win games |

You are not getting Miller for nothing, and I would almost guarantee that Connolly would have to be part of the deal.
Regarding your first round pick, I get why you don't want to move it, but with Miller, you will be a much better team, and if that doesn't work for you, the first round pick can always be for the 2014 draft instead. |

I don't think any Sabres fan can accurately describe just how bad the Buffalo D has been for 90% of the season.
It seems like at least 70% of the game is spent with Buffalo not being able to get the puck out of their own D zone.
It has been BRUTAL. |
