It is definately conditional. TSN just posted it. I didnt think it was possible to top the Phaneuf trade but feaster proves me wrong again. |

If that first round pick is conditional, you guys need to go to Feaster's house tonight with torches and pitchforks. I feel really bad for your fan-base. - madmike71
it really is en vogue to hate on Calgary isn't it? NYI must have got boring.

Even as a Leaf fan I can honestly say the Flames are the worst run organization in the league. Islanders a close second along with Columbus. At least those teams have an excuse... |

Give me 2 legitimate reason why this trade is bad.
I see 0.
This fan base has been fed in the eye so bad they are willing to hate everything.
This is a GOOD THING.
Especially if they got a 1st. (even conditional- he either resigns and gives them a 1st, or, comes back. whoopty whoop)
Feaster- genius- resign him please. And there is no sarcasm. Sutter would have done worse |

Not hating at all. I don't think you guys got fair value for your generational player. I know he's not the same player, but the 1st shouldn't be conditional. |

The conditional first is bad. How the hell do you not wind up with a sure draft pick?
Khokhlachev is a 2nd round pick who put up pretty terrible numbers this year.
Bartkowsi is a 24 year old slightly above average AHL defense men.
This is the most Feaster could get? Really? Sad. |

yes, because losing him for nothing is better.
and -to be honest- you apparently realized he is no longer a franchise player chip?
dude is a 8 g 7 a the rest of the season for Boston, and then, whatever he gives them the playoffs.
Calgary gets a top CENTER chip (Alex), a throwin depth 2nd tier (Bart) and a potential 1st pick.
Dissect where this is bad, instead of playing Donald Sutherland at the end of Invasion of the Body Snatchers. substance!!! |

They got pieces, not great pieces, but pieces.
When Murray gets you 2 2nd rounders, that is almost in the same ball park as this package return |

I think the only reason we need is the return. Bartowski is not going to be anything better than a 5-6 d-man. Khocrochev is maybe a second line center but undersized. Report on him is that he is also not a great skater. Not a great combination. And then the CONDITIONAL first rounder. I mean are you seriously saying flames could not have gotten better. I agree that sutter would have done worse but that really isnt saying much. The bruins offered koko + a 2nd rounder for MORROW. Are you seriously saying that iggy is worth almost the same as morrow? |

Meh- either he re-signs or he goes back to Calgary. Unless a re-sign was guaranteed, I all but guaranteed a conditional. Not mad at all. And this trade is seriously the best Fester could do. I am proud of him. |

Agreed, when you trade the face of your franchise you should hope you get more than a couple average prospects and a conditional pick that will most likely be 25-30. |

honestly. Its a 2nd line centre (if he pans out w/ the russian factor) and a 3rd paring dman. The conditional 1st rounder is the only saving grace in this trade. |

Being on the 2nd line with krejci, that will be the best centre he will have ever played with. Watch him put up some serious numbers now |

Considering its Bostons first, thats pretty much a glorified 2nd round pick. |

Honestly, I'm sick about it. I've watched both players and Iggy was playing far and away better than Morrow. I wasn't thrilled at all with the Morrow trade.....frankly he looked washed up from what I've seen. I've seen Iggy have some nice games (after a slow start). |
