Hands down that was the worst era ever. There was one highlight in 10 years that I remember, the Hawks beating the Blues in game 1 of the 2002 NHL playoffs. They then lost 4 straight after that.

I thought he was in Chicago very early in his career but I could be wrong...I remember there was a young Guy on one of the early 90's hawks team that was projected to be good and he got traded might not have been him

I don't recall this...but we've got rid of good players...i.e. Hasek, Roenick, Chelios, Larmer, so lots of grudges to hold if you liked players like that.

Oilers blogger said he is hearing a lot of speculation that Iginla is going to Chicago FWIW. if Jussi Jokinen lasts to the Hawks on the waiver wire I seem to remember he is pretty good on faceoffs and has some offensive talent. Worth exploring as a possible #2 center? Looking forward to see how today plays out
