Is there anyway the City of Chicago can bar him from wearing any gear depicting Chicago sports teams. I'm willing to start a petition.

My gut feeling is that there isn't 4 approved teams , I think Iggy wants to be a Hawk , Feaster is trying to squeeze all he can out of the Hawks and I think the Hawks are calling his bluff. I though Iginla played with out a lot less snarl tonight.... Future Hawk ? We'll see.

Iginla would help the depth and rolling of 4 lines and he would be Hossa insurance. Hossa , Iginla and Kane could play all 3 forward positions. They would make it work somehow. 12 still has a cannon of a shot and I think the Hawks would tell him just shoot it Jerome , play lw on Kane's line and he'll find you.

The Iginla idea is fun to think about it, but in the long run its not what we need. Even if hes on the PP here, this coaching staff would still phuck it up. We need a big 4th line C to help on the PK and it in the dot. And the other needed piece is a kamikaze winger who will pound on the opposing D and F. I like Mayers, but he has nothing left. Plus when Sharp comes back, put him in the #2 C spot Q!!!! Make him... and if he wont play it then bye. Talk about creating a hole when you didnt have to. He has had some great years stat wise in the middle. WTF #10.. lets go back to C. Bowman needs to add 2-3 minor pieces. Thats it. We dont need Iginla and I sure dont want to trade picks/players for a possible rental issue with Jerome. Jerome is a HOF player, but at this stage of his career I say no.

I didn't think the Hawks had much interest in Iginla until I saw the Sportsnet report tonight, apparently they do.

Have to say kinda interesting how quiet this board is after a very nice 2-0 whitewash compared to what happens after gmes like last night...lotsa positives in this gme.

Bolland showed a pulse despite coming up empty on a couple A chances..yeah his faceoff problems persist

Defensively the Flames got and did nothing...

Great effort all the way around. PP is still in the toilet, but Kipper was in the stratosphere again. Shoulda been 4-0 easy. We need obvious help at the dot, but I thought we were more physical tonight. Was a good bounce back game. I have this nagging feeling that lil Stanley is gonna wayyyy over pay for Jerome. Please dont Stanley... please!!!

Right . . I mean I've watched that guy play 100 times and in a game as close as this with his team being out shot 3:1 he would have done something to change momentum, run over a goalie , punch some one in the face, forechecking hard and late , something... Tonight he looked like he was going thou the motions waiting to be traded to the Hawks. Just my opinion.

I'd agree but for the part from '96 to '07 or '08 which was the WORST PHUCKING era in my time as a Hawks' fan. Dollar Bill died, McD was hired by Rocky and the Renaissance was born. Is McD perfect ? Phuck no. I know ZIP about his ways as a Cub exec..but as a Hawk visionary...he had me at Hello.
