Jeez... Douglas Murray looks like he's straight from the Federal League.
Probably played in Syracuse with Ogilthorpe and McCracken. |

I think you have a very good team and can play a playoffs style no problem. I just think you could use a power forward to help your scoring. I would consider you a threat, no doubt. - powerhouse
Habs are legit. They might be a worse match-up for the Pens than the Broons. They can skate with us, I'm not sure the Bruins can.
Sucks about Letang. I was afraid they were rushing him back. A wonky groin can be a tough thing to heal. Now a broken toe? Keep him out 'til the last couple of games of the season. |

Random note...the #15 hasn't done much to Glass' game. Since he's "starting fresh" now, let's give him a couple more games. |

I forgot that he took that number, and I kept thinking to myself, "Jeffery looks horrible out there" lol |

A broken toe might matter if it was bad. Also depends which toe and how much swelling. - powerhouse

Its in reference to Therrien's famous rant when he called the Penguins soft. Therrien's english made it phonetically sound like "soff" - Gunner Staal

great letang back on IR, guess bennett doesnt have to go down now...
and was anyone else mad that bennett had to play with glass and adams? and how slow is morrow? I was at the game and he looked really slow compared to other players...I honestly thinks bennett needs to be on 2nd line and morrow on 3rd |

Im not against it but i really think whats missing from the second line is morrow...there is plenty of talent and no grit so i like morrow on the 2nd..and bennett should absolutley be on the third line at worst with sutter and cooke. |

This! I thought the 2nd line really missed Bennett last night. With Jeffery and Morrow, that line is slooooooow. Neal isn't the most gifted skater either.
I think Despres will be back up if Letang can't play. |

Agreed, provided Morrow can keep up he should help free up space on the boards. |

Give morrow a chance with geno neal first. It was his first game. |

I just pictured him on the 3rd line from the start. Bennett has played well in that spot. I'm willing to give anything a chance though. We have that luxury with a bazillion point lead in the division. |

This.
Malkin will be back soon, and when he is Morrow will be the only slower skater on that line. His game is very similar to Kunitz's game and we all know how great 14 looked with 71 and 18 last season. |

I just envision bennett-malkin-neal line not working in the playoffs..someone needs to drive the net. |

Morrow also gives opponents one more established scoring threat to be concerned about. Bennett has played REALLY well and will be such a great player for us for years, but in 2013 Morrow will be better at freeing up ice for Malkin and Neal. |
