I was watching NHL Overtime on NBC tonight and they showed a couple of lazy OV plays. Just terrible, lazy plays that directly led to pucks in his net. Disgusting he makes so much money to play like that. |

lLooks like a Calgary move, he will not be there when the Pens have a chance to get him. This is a terrible move by the Canes and I can't even begin to understand it. - Sell My Monkey
They could have traded him for a 4th or 5th round pick easily..dumb move. I'd gladly trade Glass for him |

and it happens now, when they are praising his game in the official nhl.com site. It's all about business I guess. |

It is not a dumb move....jokinen is due 3 mil next year also and who wants that contract on their books? I certainly don't. While plexiglass is not my ideal 4th liner I believe Shero is working on that issue too. |

According to Tiops the Pens are looking at other 2nd line wingers other than Iginla, could get interesting. |

Kris Letang is not lucky. A broken toe is the new injury. Lower body still hurting. #penguins #RDS |

Anyone else have the TSN feed last night and have to hear Randorf and Reid go on about how Slewban is the greatest defenseman ever to play the game?
I might have embellished that a little bit. Just like the "Crosby Trip" on him. |

The only scary team in there is Boston. I'm not buying into the sudden stardom of Montreal or Anaheim. Both have to do with unbelievable goaltending and nothing else. Same rosters as last year, give or take a few prospects or uselss players (like prust and armstrong).
Chicago is also riding the coatails of goaltending, but they've road their offense to a Cup recently so they are legitimately scary.
There is no one in the East who can beat the Penguins if their goaltending doesn't go all Philadelphia series on them. - PuckingOpinion
?? you might want to look up some stats there buddy. Price's numbers are mediocre and the Habs are one of the top scoring teams in the league. |

I can see why people would think that. They are a team that is scoring by committee. No big star is in the top 60 in scoring. Nothing wrong with that. Good depth. |

Montreal is a top 5 team in puck possession and Even Strength Save %. Great combination to have. |

Renaud Lavoie also saying it was MAF's neck that was sore last night.
Let's just hope is a muscle thing and rest him for a week. |

They can recall back up goaltender without using roster spot right? |

problem right now is that the committee doesn't seem to be in session. games like last night (tons of shots, no goals) have been common this past week. |

No, they will have to free up a spot.
Speaking of that, someone sent this to one of the Pensblog guys, so not sure if true.

Fleury and Vokoun were outstanding last night. So was Price. Montreal had their chances. |

Good one rival. Interesting tweet. Hope it's not waivers or anything like that.

thats not what that win last night indicated imo but ok, i mean so far habs have shown they can play the run and gun with pitts and the slow and steady game with Pitts i'm not sure what makes you so confident in that statement at this point but meh |

Have they? They lost both. Not that I agree with what the poster said. I don't think the Pens are head and tails above the rest of the East. I don't think anyone wants to play Boston and Montreal certainly can contend as well. I wouldn't take it personally your team is exceeding expectations IMO. Just need a chip and a chair. Playoffs are a different beast. |

I think you have a very good team and can play a playoffs style no problem. I just think you could use a power forward to help your scoring. I would consider you a threat, no doubt. |

A broken toe might matter if it was bad. Also depends which toe and how much swelling. |

yeah we need a finisher i mean allround its true that the Bs and Pens are above the habs but yeah its not by miles or anything
i jus wish we had a gamebreaker
me personally i like the Pens and if you guys had a full healthy team i dont see how you dont win the cup even vs Chicago |
