If he plays as hard as his dad but with skill, he's a steal in the middle to late 1st round. - Two_For_Truth

His dad is a manipulative bastard who pretty much extorted Gilmour and the Frontenacs to trade him to London by threatening to go to the NCAA. Tie has always been heavily involved with Max and is doing everything in his power to get him to be as highly touted as possible. That leads to Max being overrated and possibly creating an entitled attitude just because his dad has pretty much driven him to where he is. But his combination of skill and his tenacity is valuable. |

Habies lose too - Canada Cup
I believe I'm the only one who notices but if you look in the Habs past 7 games they won 5 in a row and loss the last 2 and notice how many back ups that were in against them?
They win them all against Peters, bishop, Hedberg, Enroth and Poulin and now the last 2 they had Miller and Fleury and lost.

Screwed the Frontenacs pretty bad. If it were anybody else, they would have to live with it but because his dad is Tie Domi, he gets special treatment. |

Look at the nights roster... tons of NCAA players over the years... or ones that said no to other OHL teams... Mermis, Stolarz and broadhurst this year..... gagner, varone, etc in the past.... The kids have leverage and want to play for the program that gives them the best chance to succeed... cannot blame them..... |

Assuming that we will be in the latter half of the rounds in the draft, is it worth focusing purely on a position as opposed to the best player available, which in last year's draft resulted in Morgan Reilly?
Should we look at a winger?
Are there prime goalies available? |

What happens if the Leafs draft him and he says he wants to play in Pittsburgh because they're the best? Still can't blame him?
He could have played in Kingston under Gilmour and Gill, been the star of the team but instead he wanted to be surrounded by guys that would make him look better. |

Yeah but like you said he is still a talented player on the ice. If we don't draft him who do we draft? |

You're worried that Tie Domi's son won't want to play for the Leafs, come on he's got blue in his blood. |

Whatever the Frontenacs received 3 second round picks for him, and 2nd rounders are very valuable in the OHL |

What if he wants to play for the Leafs but doesn't want to go back down to the OHL or doesn't want to play in the AHL? It's just a matter of attitude. |

And he is the star of the knights..... leading scorer... with mattaa, griffith, and harrington out for large parts of this year he put one of the top 3 teams in the chl on his back |

Whatever totally different scenarios... tons of players do what he did in the chl..... not so frequent in the nhl |

A lot of it is politics at that level, the league might look different if it was based purely off of skill. |
