MacA, Holzer, Toronto's 2013 4th round pick and Edmontons 2014 conditional 4th round pick in 2014 (could be a 3rd if Edmonton makes either this years playoffs or next).
For
Rozsival, Mark McNeil and 2013 1st

And you're saying that the only way Bozak leaves the Leafs is on waivers? Not sure I would agree, but you're entitled to your opinion amigo. - mykokes
Jokinen is a 50+ pts per season player.
Bozak never reached 50pts even when playing with PPG players on his line.

I'm going to hire Sean Bean as my replacement ref, I know after three or four blogs he will be killed off and I can return. |

This is because they don't always clear the puck right away. But when they do, he goes off and Kulemin usually comes on. - vermie22
The Leaf defensive zone when they can't clear a puck has added a lot of blocked shots to many players.. as you see those blocks are up huge... but unfortunately a blocked shot usually leads to more attempts... Leafs forwards need to get better at supporting their Dmen.. and getting pucks out.. so that they could block less shots...

riiiiiight.
then he goes back out with JVR on the 2nd unit - Big_Lightnin
correct, and that is the point in the penalty kill where the Leafs stop touching the puck and the other team gets multiple scoring chances, unless a D man does a hell mary flip the puck over everyone's head. |

Wasn't Mark McNeil as 2012 1st round pick? So, two 4ths, Hozler (AHL d-man) and MacA (2nd/3rd liner) = two 1st round picks and a top 4 d-man? |

WAS... not IS. He's been pretty poop this year, and they don't need to pay him $3M per for barely 3rd line minutes |

SH/TOI is PK...
everyone else's stats are full game as well, all there is to go by. - Big_Lightnin
Yeah but that extra time on the first unit pads a few stats.. as I said.. before blocked shots leads to more shots... stripping guys of the puck at the top of the PK... leads to freeing the zone... Boazk's positioning on the PK is excellent.. as I said before I think he plays with too small of a stick.. he should have a longer one for the PK... would help to strip pucks.. and cover passing lanes...

The LEafs have 2 needs right now. A number 1 d man, and a number 1 centre. Anything else is a tweak. |

Switiching to a longer stick now wuld be a disaster. St. Louis uses a longer stick but has been since he was 8 years old. |

In last night's game, I think I heard that Chara has played more games then all of the Leafs defence combined. Not a whole lot of experience back there. |

And that is why I am optimistic, people need to realize just how young this team is to be where they are. Holy crap there's some positivity for once! |

This seems to be the pattern with Jussi.......things went pretty sour for him in Tampa, in fact I remember he was put on waivers and we asked on here should we claim him. He bounced back for 30 goals. As far as I can tell, Bozak hasn't had the same low points that Mr. Jokinen has had......
Sorry Pecafan fan, still disagree with you. Anyways...... |
