I should be clear about Bozak, I think he's a good player, I just think he's wrong for Kessel. Not so much how he affects Kessel, but moreso how playing with Kessel affects his game. If there was some other centre to put with Kessel, and Bozak would resign for a decent price, then keep him. But right now, it looks like Bozak's going to be getting Matt Stajan money....which sucks. |

He wasn't used alot last year was he? I don't quite remember, he never got the chances he is this year. - Leafland
No Ballsack got PK duty last year.. this year though he is used on the first unit.. so we have two centers just in case one gets thrown... but as soon as they clear the zone Bozak is on the bench.

Bozak has a lot of value, way better than people think, and he could easily fit as a third line, pk guy once a proper 1 centre arrives or develops. |

I am totally with you I think Bozak is decent for the 3rd line.. I don't think he is the play making type that Kessel needs to take the pressure off him... and to help JVR.. he does score goals but they are of the tap in variety... he doesn't have a Frattin, JVR, Kessel type shot...

Yes but until McClemt came aboard it was a bottom of the table PK.. Bozak is out there for the faceoffs.. and as soon as we clear the zone.. he is on the bench.. his stick is too short for the PK.. he rarely steals pucks.. or blocks... - DoctorNHL
wow... this must be a record for most errors in a single post literally factually incorrect with everyting you said
He leads all Leaf forwards in take-aways. 4th for forwards in blocks.
If he was just taking the faceoffs and coming off, he'd have a hell of a lot less SH/TOI than everybody else. |

Agreed I think that is where he should be playing.. most people are asking too much of him... he works hard... does faceoffs good.. just missing in a few key areas... to make him elite.

It comes down to Grabs or Bozak in the long run. |

you need to watch more closely.
They do do this occasionally, but the reason is to keep Bozak fresh so they can put him out for every face-off in D-zone when short-handed.

Theres no way he centres a number one line to a cup, but at third line heck ya it's possible, hopefully he can get signed at no more than 3.5 per, but either way it comes down to grabs or bozak in terms of the future, I for one do not want a 5.5 million 3rd line centre. |

Probably the same value as Jussi Jokinen.

Maybe, I know b-huds and most on here would tell me I'm nuts, but I'd like to still see, just for once, Bozak and Grabo alternated. Grabo on the PP with Kadri has looked fine to me, and the argument is always well grabo and kessel both can't have the puck, so then why the hell does Grabo and Kadri work on the PP? I just want to see it, just for one game, I mean Bozak's gotten what, 4 years with Kessel? |

He does get a lot of TOI... I was talking in the PK.. in the offensive zone he is one of the better forecheckers.. and steals tons of pucks on the boards and on scrambles in front.. also his neutral zone game is pretty good too.. and has stolen many.. so your stats and my argument apples to oranges... |

And you're saying that the only way Bozak leaves the Leafs is on waivers? Not sure I would agree, but you're entitled to your opinion amigo. |

This is because they don't always clear the puck right away. But when they do, he goes off and Kulemin usually comes on. |

They could try it, maybe they just figure if Bozak is workin out let it be but there would be no harm in looking at it, do it against a team like FLorida tonight or a low end team. |

Well considering I rate most Habs bar maybe Subban, Prust & Price.. as Leaf 4th liners... I am not too shocked that Habs fans feel the same about some Leafs...
All I know is that the high Habs are on 7 pts ahead of a slumping Leafs.. considering we get the privilege to pound you again... I think that point tally will decrease.. for the Dirty Midgets..
