he definitely has talent.. i just don't see him turning out to be the gem that everyone else does. more of an eric johnson of a first overall pick, not a tavares.

you'd think with hall, RNH, yak drafted 1st overall, and how good eberle is.. one of them would have to underachieve.

I think it's the coach and system they play. They don't get shots on net on the PP or even scoring chances, plus all their scoring guys have like one goal in 15 games.

That is the system and coaching not talent.

hard to say. phaneuf and locker room issues seem to follow each other, but it's hard to believe everything you hear, right?

i was skeptical about the calgary rumours, but throw in the rumblings about the schenn beefs, and i'm convinced his ego may be a bit of an issue.

i think big schenn will turn out to be better captain material in the nhl than phaneuf someday.
