i suppose the same source that cited the phaneuf problems in calgary. the media, the fanbase.. the speculators in general. which is why my original point was that it's tough to put any merit to it, until you're starting to look at multiple episodes. one starts to wonder at that point.

the trade was rumoured for months. burke openly stated schenn was untradeable multiple times, until after the rumoured beef with phaneuf.

Schenn and Dion had a beef. Not really sure what. Dion just didn't like Schenn for some reason.

I would be surprised if he doesn't waive. Will be interesting to see the return since he's now just a solid 3rd liner on a good team IMO.
