Bolland no
Hjamlmarsson No
And when i say no its no to Chicago actually trading them. - Leafsfan9329
So then theres not much trading to be done with chicago, more dallas i would say. And im pretty sure chicago stated they wanted more veteran presence which was on their list as a 3rd line center or wing. |

Seriously , Chicago has nothing you need? did you miss the first 23-24 games of the season? Have you looked at the standings in the West?
Now what do they have that they will move is another question.
Silly Leaf fan..... - Sam67
Yes because chicago is going to give up toews, seabrook, keith, hossa, sharp, kane or anyone that got them in that spot |

The interesting thing about Komisarek being demoted is that it opens up just $900,000 in cap space - the new CBA dictates that the rest of his salary still counts.
Also, remember that Holzer was sent down to make room for Gardiner. The Komisarek move is unrelated.
This move was either to open a roster spot or to open up $900K in cap room (or both)...any way you slice it, seems like Nonis is preparing to do something. |

We are better off trying to trade with St. Louis give them an expiring contract or a young prospect for 1 of there 4 restricted guys.
Or try getting Halak from them since they are basically going with the rookie Jake Allen. |

Or Komisarek asked to be waived so he could play instead of sit...

More hype for hits...
Flyers have had rumblings/rumors/speculation/dominoes/something brewing/talks etc for weeks now, with nothing happening.
More BS to get desperate fans something to look forward to until the deadline (key word being DEAD - like the deadline has been the last 2 years

If Nonis wanted to keep him, he still would've said "No" instead of exposing him to waivers and risking him being picked up (as minimal as the risk is). Komisarek doesn't control whether the team waives him. |

Seems to me like every time someone gets waived "something is up/something is brewing"...
except it usually doesn't.
Nonis is likely losing Komi for the main purpose of flexibility at the deadline. They don't use him and he's dead weight. He also knows he won't be claimed at that cap hit. Its quite simple, really. |

Okay so let me get this straight:
1) Eklund says Leafs are looking at Derek Roy in center
2) HockeyyInsiderr on Twitter says Stastny
3) And Toronto Star reports Mike Ribeiro
Who to believe................. |

Best bet is to make one of them spin wheels with all the options on it and spin away. Wherever it lands, just roll with that story. That seems to be what mostly everyone does nowadays anyway.

Dont see how Derek Roy entices the whole "toronto getting bigger" down the middle..... burke would slap Nonis silly if they got Derek Roy. Id rather keep what we have then go after Roy, but if its to make a dump salary of grabo, then it could be a good deal. |

wouldnt be surprised to see the hawks move bolland or bickell, kruger is ready to step up and take bollands spot, and i see the hawks keeping stalberg over bicks at this time, dont forget the amount of prospects we have, plus i cant see them movin hjammer, imo he has been the hawks best dman this year, i can see them getting bozak from the leafs tho |
