Considering everytime this guy posts a rumor nothing ever comes of it I dont even know why I'm commenting, I guess this time I guess there just seems to be some relevance to it.

Chicago has to make a choice on who to sign, do they sign Bryan Bickell or Viktor Stalberg. Both are making less the $700 000 this season and are due for decent raises. I think Chicago likes Stalberg's upside and skill set more then Bickell's, however I think Bickell fits what Toronto needs more anyways. If its a deal with Chicago I wouldn't be surprised to see Bickell coming to Toronto. Chicago prospects, Brandon Pirri, Jimmy Hayes and Jeremy Morin could also be in play. Pirri is a Toronto boy and that could have some relevance in the deal.

If its Dallas i could see a Grabovski for Roy deal. Roy is a UFA at seasons end so Toronto could make a choice on keeping him or Bozak at seasons end. Niuewendyk has always been high on Grabovski and he would seem to fit in on the top 6 in Dallas. Also Dallas is really thin on the backend so it wouldnt shock me to see a guy like Kostka or Liles go to Dallas as well. More so Kostka as he would be the throw in for Dallas taking on Grabo's contract. The Leafs seem to be high on Brendan Morrow as well so there could be more to the deal.

As much as I wish we could have the opportunity to witness that trade that changes the clubs fortunes for the next decade, I am having a hard time seeing anything materializing that would be anything more than a lateral move... I mean, who's available that would have an immediate impact without depleting the Talent and "depth" we already have? I feel terrible for the generation of Leafs fans who have literally missed the fun part of them being in the playoffs year after year. There's 26 year olds out there who have never watched a leafs playoff game at a bar, or gone to their buddy's house to watch them in the playoffs.

The league needs to hate the Leafs again, instead of just laughing at them.
