My question is why I agree Ek is a flyers guy and has more rumors about the fly guys...why isnt there any rumors based on who is leaving philly....obviously we are going to be major sellers this year....Briere, Coburn, Mez, Gagne, frankly any veteran could be moved....we shouldnt be bringing players in we should be selling for cap space and prospects cause after last night we are done - nonpoint22
Briere isn't going anywhere. It isn't likely he would wave his no trade clause and I'm not sure any team wants that contract. |

They didn't have the option to match. It came out the Welker came back to ask the Pats for their final offer and it was 2yrs for $10mil total. If Gronk and Hernandez stay healthy and Ballard plays well we should be just fine. Especially with Lloyd and Amendola. - fudd1689
I agree that the offense will be fine, I'm not a Lloyd fan though but Brady and the TE's plus Amendola if all three stay healthy should be a top offense. They just need their young defense to improve. |

Yeah, IMO the offense would actually still be really scary if they can upgrade on Lloyd, a guy like Danario Alexander was a beast for SD last year when he finally got healthy. Lloyd's overrated IMO, always leaves you wanting more outside of that one season. The offense will be fine no matter what because of Brady and the TE's, but the defense will make or break that team. - Nucker101
It could but essentially used the same money on Amendola which doesn't leave a ton cap room. I hope they retain Talib and bring in another serviceable cornerback. Lloyd will make catches but always right on the sideline and won't get or dig to get the extra yardage.

Yeah, that was a nice trade. He's an upgrade over what Moss did for them last year for sure. Hawks got a way better player in Harvin though, plus they signed Avril who's a good pass rusher. - Nucker101

I like the Seahawks to win it all at this point, but there's still lots of FA's and the draft to go before we get a good idea of what team will look like. Broncos definitely look like the team to beat in the AFC right now though, but the Pats will be scary if they're defence plays better. - Nucker101
the seahawks are definitely improved but i think if the falcons get steven jackson as rumored then i think they are always a contender. |

I doubt the Kings would take on Miller with Quick locked up long term. But that'd be quite a tandem. Arguably the best two US goalies on one team.
Ain't happenin' though. |

IMO three best teams as of now are the seahawks, 49ers, and broncos. |

It will all come down to defense with the Pats this year. Try haven't made any moves yet which is concerning. It's crucial they resign Talib. If he walks I have zero faith in the D making an impact. They need Talib back and either a left side CB or a legit veteran safety. |

If Jackson went to Green Bay, they would be scary. Still would have poop on D, but would likely score 400 points each game |

I don't mind the guy, but a part of me is hoping he suddenly sucks just so Harvin can go on another tantrum |

I hear you. I think their D and run game is too good for wilson to screw it up singlehandedly. |

Yeah. Having no D will kill em though. Look at the three teams I mentioned. What do they all have in common? An awesome D. They lost a couple WR this year as well. But I won't ever count out Mr. Discount double check. I'm a Bucs fan, so I don't care about any team I mentioned, but I'd love to see Jackson in GB. They've needed a solid RB for years. |

He might waive it if he is told that they are going to buy him out however I do believe he would only except a trade to an east coast team and he is owed only 5 million in actually salary so a team like st louis who will never reach cap ceiling would take him gladly |

Lol... well, I have my questions about him. He may be the "hot new thing," but he has many many flaws that people don't obviously see. He isn't that great in the pocket, while he has a bullet of an arm which will work well on slants, etc., he doesn't have much touch on his passes and is not good on fades. With a D that can contain his running ability, he is just an average QB. I'd take my chances with 7 or 8 in the box against him more often than not, which I think gives the most chance of success. |

Jennings can't do the things after the catch that Harvin can do. And seeing that Ponder is incapable of completing passes longer than 4 yards, that is rather important |

I hope the Flyers don't do anything stupid...Play out the season then go (frank)ing nuts during the off season...These would be the things I'd love to see them do before the season ends:
1. Trade Briere
2. Dump Lavy
3. Trade for R.Miller

Well, you can sign Amendo... damn, not him either.
I'm sorry. |
