Guys, guys...it's not worth arguing about. From what I hear, Iginla has already been traded to Boston. The deal just hasn't been announced yet. Boston fans can't be wrong.

Will he be visible when he's standing on the podium holding the Art Ross and Hart trophies?

The best defensive play anyone made last night against Crosby was made by the linesman a few minutes before the Pens first goal. The look on Sid's face was priceless.

Great, just great. First, you get the best player in the world for free, and now he can turn invisible? Just frickin great.

He can teleport, and use telekenisis too but he's saving it for the playoffs. Its all part of the neural enhancements he was working on during his concussion recovery.

Just wait until he uses the old Jedi mind trick on Bryz:

Iggy is great, but to say he has the same skills he used to is just wrong, his realese is not as good as Dupers currently is. Also the fact that Iggy was ALWAYS hands down the best player on his line therefore had to do alot of the work himself. Not to mention how long it would take to get Iggy adjusted to playing with Sid, did Iggy play in the Olympics with Sid as well as Duper has this year. No he didnt.

Iggy would bring toughness over Duper thats for sure, but at this point that maybe about all.

You guys are just trying to make the playoffs the Flyer way....score a shootout goal in the last game of the season to secure the 8th seed.

All about the drama.....

Yeah, i was laughing when i saw that comment. How Crosby was invisible the first 2 periods.
- cap1681

I saw that comment too. What's funny is I also saw a guy say something like... "Crosby scares the sh*t out of me every time he's on the ice". At least somebody was honest.

The beauty of the compressed schedule is that this is the proportional equivalent of a 12 game win streak in an 82 game season.

Doesn't he notoriously start slow and still get 30 a year? I also believe he has something like 7 or 8 goals in the last 10-12 games. I'd say he'd fit just fine, and I'm a big Duper fan. Iginla would complete this forward unit. Don't need to break the bank though, esp if there are cheaper options that can be effective too

Throw in a stay at home D and the sky is the limit.

This team is quietly rounding into form and starting to play some really good hockey, all without last year's league MVP. Can we all finally agree that HCDB's system works just fine when the players decide to actually play it and pay attention to playing responsible team defense?

Can't wait for tomorrow against the Rangers. They are struggling, but you know they are going to come out hard. Time to put the boots to'em while they are down!!!!

I compare the potential Iginla stuff to when we got Billy Guerin....except at this stage of their respective careers, Iginla is way ahead of where Billy G was in terms of production.

Malkin would complete this Top 6. I was against Bennett coming up. I was wrong. See everyone is WRONG. I like Iginla always have, we just dont need him.

Duper (Grinding shooter) Crosby (Lord of the Grinders) Kunitz (Grinding shooter)
Neal (Sniper)Malkin (Shoot first playmaker)Bennett (playmaker not a shooter at all)
Cooke-Sutter-HOLE (Morrow via trade)
HOLE-Adams-HOLE(maybe Kennedy)

He doesn't need to turn invisible against the Flyers. There defense play with their eyes cold.

I'm afraid to see Bennett as our only solution to round the top 6. We need to bring another guy for the playoffs. The physical game will be at its highest level.

Remember we had a lot more depth in 08-09 cup run...I think we had Sykora/Satan on the bench..

A 4th liner, a top 6-9 wing tough to play against and a stay at home D. Call it a day.

Nate Thompson (plenty of options), Ryane Clowe (or Purcell/McGinn/Morrow) and Ladislav Smid (or Regehr/Giordano/Sarich)

Iginla is a superstar. As much as I love him, Billy G was never everrr that. 100% not the same type of move at all. Do not get me WRONG i would not be mad if we got Iggy, we just do not need what he brings to the table and it has the potential of ruining out team mojo. He is that impactful of a player. Take that chance? Major Move or marginal tweek Ray will decide. Ask Rags fans what its like to have too many superstars.
