Hey guys, I've got an idea...let's trade for Iginla and bump Dupuis down to the 4th line where he belongs!!!
If I see the word Iginla today from anyone in here, I'm going to snap like Ken Shamrock |

The time has come,
No Iginla: dont need him, changes locker room dynamic too much.
Morrow would help on the 3rd line but not at the expense of anything worth while. 4th rounder be my guest.
As much as i can not stand Bylsma he did a good job of ADJUSTING to the Bruins and Leafs in the latter parts of the last two games. Played very solid D and seemed to have a very good STRUCTURED game plan. Good coaching.
Big physical Dman, nothing out there worth giving up Despres for. Robyn Regehr maybe an ok option but still wouldnt over pay.
4th line is the greatest need on this team, although they played an ok game last night in the playoffs that line scares me. Where is Talbot when you need him, o that right he is dead to me.

When the 4th line is the greatest need on your team, your doing something right. This team needs a grinder/PK specialist and a physical, stay at home defenseman. That's about it. I can't see HCDB messing with the top 2 lines, especially when Malkin comes back. |

If you have the chance to improve the overall depth of this team by solidifying it with a player who fills more than 1 need all by himself, and you don't break the bank to do it....I don't care who it is, you do it. And as a well respected and known character locker room guy to boot. 9 times out of 10 this needs to happen. Even if that means just keeping that player away from a team that would surpass you if they got him, it's worth it. I fully believe there are ways this can be done without killing the chemistry of this team.

Love Iginla as a player, bad fit for this team.Veteran leadership can come in many forms, i think good ole boy Eaton braught some of that along with his worlds largest adams apple. Current Duper>Current Iggy. |

This team is quietly rounding into form and starting to play some really good hockey, all without last year's league MVP. Can we all finally agree that HCDB's system works just fine when the players decide to actually play it and pay attention to playing responsible team defense?
Can't wait for tomorrow against the Rangers. They are struggling, but you know they are going to come out hard. Time to put the boots to'em while they are down!!!! |

So, if Iggy was on Sid's line all year, and Dupes was in Calgary, you mean this would still be true?
Your just wrong. ( By the way, all are entitled to their own opinion, it is not your place to tell them they are wrong. ) it is an opinion, no right or worng. |

It's funny to go read the Maple Leafs blog from during the 3rd period last night.
The Penguins are lucky, Crosby was invisible most of the game, the only reason the Pens scored is one of there D-man sucks. And it seems like the majority of them are convinced that they are not making the playoffs because of a 4 game losing streak. - cap1681

He was definitely the hardest working Penguins skater, if not the hardest working skater between both teams. Some of them must of had beer goggles on during the game. |

Will he be visible when he's standing on the podium holding the Art Ross and Hart trophies?
The best defensive play anyone made last night against Crosby was made by the linesman a few minutes before the Pens first goal. The look on Sid's face was priceless. |

Great, just great. First, you get the best player in the world for free, and now he can turn invisible? Just frickin great. |
