I think Shero has learned from last year. We need a little tinkering, nothing huge. If he goes 2 years without doing anything at the deadline and we go 1 and done again. It will look a little foolish.

Yeah... he made a nice play carrying the puck out of a crowd and getting it out of the zone, but I can't remember the last puck battle he's won along the boards.

I'd like to see him for some more games when Malkin is back, but I'm not 100% confident in him in a rough playoff series.

As much hate as I've thrown Disco's way, he's got them playing good tight checking hockey the last few. Great win! Would be nice to have the 3rd or 4th line chip one in....especially in a game like this.

He was fantastic. But don't underestimate the difference it makes when the team commits to defense in front of him.

Despres had another really good game. Letang had one of those games where he acts like a 5th penalty killer for the other team. But Despres saves his bacon regularly and they seem to have a lot of cohesion, DB would be crazy not to let that blossom.

Less than 2 weeks ago we had a 6 point lead on them and they had 2 games in hand. Now we have a 12 point lead and they still have 2 games in hand if they lose in regulation tonight. We could really throw some logs on the fire with a win Saturday, a thumping of epic proportions would be ideal both for their confidence and the post game entertainment.
